Your Itinerary

Monterosso al Mare

(Pass by)

The northernmost village of the Cinque Terre is Monterosso, which is divided into two sides: the historic center and the “new” side called Fegina, with a pedestrian tunnel that connects the two. Monterosso is larger than the other towns and is the only one that offers beach services, making it the most visited of the Cinque Terre.

Vernazza

(Pass by)

Vernazza the smallest of the Cinque Terre, and commonly known as the most fascinating with a beautiful marina and the Church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia which stands right on the water. Here you will also see the Torre del Belforte which sits right on the harbor as a protective lighthouse for the small village.

Corniglia

(Pass by)

Corniglia: lying 100 meters high on a cliff, Corniglia is the only one of the towns without a port and has a panoramic terrace from which you can see Manarola and Riomaggiore to the south and Vernazza and Monterosso to the north.

Manarola

(Pass by)

Manarola: is located at the other end of the Via del Amore and is part of the municipality of Riomaggiore. Known for its wine production, Manarola produces the only dessert wine called Sciacchetrà found only in this area.

Riomaggiore

(Pass by)

While we continue to sail along the coast of the Cinque Terre villages, we meet Riomaggiore. With brightly colored houses built vertically on the surrounding hills, Riomaggiore is the second largest of the five towns and is widely known for excellent diving spots off its coast in the marine protected area that stretches all along the Cinque Terre. Here you will also see where the famous Via del Amore pedestrian path begins, leading to nearby Manarola.

My husband and I absolutely loved our boat tour with Simone around the 5 towns. We enjoyed our conversations with Simone and his expertise of the area - it's very clear how much he loves where he lives and what he does. The focaccia and pesto were absolutely delicious, as well. This was our favorite activity on our honeymoon and I couldn't recommend it more.

It was a great experience . We had perfect weather. Simone embodies the cinque terre culture. Born and raised in Riomag. His mom makes homemade fresh pesto for all to enjoy with bread and wine. It was 3 couples. Sitting on comfy cushion platform at the front half of the boat. A really touch to add to the cinque terre experience

Simone is an excellent host, his mother’s pesto is divine, and the sunset hour cruise is a perfect addition to your trip.

It was a great experience! They communicated well, sent us a message in advance with details of what to bring and where to meet. Simone was the captain, and he was great. Knew a lot about the towns and spoke great English, we got to go for a swim and his mothers pesto was delicious. Perfect if you want a boat with a small group. Overall a great experience!

This was by far the best part of our trip to Italy. Simone was a great host and his moms pesto is to die for. I would highly recommend this sunset boat trip to anyone who comes to cinque terre!!

Simone was an awesome guide. The views were incredible, the pesto was world class, and the swimming was perfect. I wish we could do it again before leaving. Highly recommend!

We quite honestly had the best evening experience!! It was my birthday and the hubby came up trumps on this gift !!! Original skipper was unfortunately not well and his boat couldn’t go . However the operators were excellent to communicate with us on all this and had arranged Simone’s skipper friend to take us in his boat !!! No complaints !!! Same time / same price ! Came with glass bubbly and some great throw back Thursday music ! We couldn’t stop taking photos !! It was a lovely time of day to go !! Thank you to cinqua Terra Tours for organising !!!!

This tour was so much fun. We had the boat with another Canadian couple that were celebrating their honeymoon. It was the four of us and our captain. He told us a little bit about each of the five villages. He also had a lot of alcohol - we went through 5 bottles of Prosecco and Wine. The pesto was his mother's recipe and it was STUNNING. The focaccia was fresh and just the perfect bite when paired with the pesto. We had time to swim and our captain took some shots of us in the water as the sun was setting. It was a beautiful night for us and a night we won't forget. A lovely evening that I would recommend to everyone!
