Only for the brave! The Catacomb’s caretaker will open the site, especially for your private visit. In order to discover this ancient Jewish Roman underground cemetery, you will be provided a flashlight. During the tour, I will show you burial sites, tombstones, and frescos dated back to the Emperor's times. Temperature is pleasantly cool during the summer and warm in winter, but most important of all … remember to bring your camera and take as many pictures as possible! After this tour in general we continue Exploring the Appian Way, which was one of the earliest and most important Roman roads, that’s why it is called “Regina Viarum… the Queen of the roads.” It was the main highway leading to South Italy and the most important Mediterranean seaports. Away from the city center, you can appreciate the area and the natural landscape of Rome and its abundant parks.
