Our tour guide, Antonio, was EXCELLENT! His english was superior and I cannot even begin to describe his wealth of knowledge. He seemed to know every statue, every picture, and he made it all very interesting. He was always mindful of the group and if someone lagged behind, or he was missing someone, which did happen once, he made sure to locate the person before moving the group. I also appreciated that he was mindful to usher us into areas where we were not pushed in or mingled with other groups so we could keep our focus with him and what he was saying and pointing out. My only regret was my husband gave him his tip when we were in the coffee shop outside of the Accademia because he was that impressed with him, and when the tour was over, it looked like no one else gave him a much deserved tip. If my husband had waited to the end to give him his tip, perhaps others would have put their hand in their pocket.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and interesting to listen to. He could answer any of the questions that were given to him.
