After a lot of driving around - the entry points are poorly signed - we finally found Entrance 1, parked, and bought crickets here (although you can do the same on the western side at Entrance 5 as the park is divided in two). The restored Temples and other ruins are well with looking at. Guided tours are available however there is more than adequate signage (only in Italian and English) to get you around.

Site itself is good, and much less strenuous to get around than the reviews generally say - good paths and only a 15 min walk from one end to the other (if you don’t stop). So an easy stroll of 1-2hrs with sightseeing. HOWEVER the entrance experience is shambolic. We had online tickets with Tiqets (who are normally good). But their QR code needs to be converted to a voucher/barcoded physical ticket for the gate. The admission staff at the site had no clue about this - first we were turned away from the online tickets counter and told to go to the back of the normal (unbooked) queue: then on objecting, we were vaguely waved at the gate, where we were then sent back to the counters. After a lot of arguing someone eventually led us to the Group Bookings counter which was the only one where someone knew what to do with the Tiqets QR code. And then only one of the 2 tickets worked at the gate, so one of us had to jump the fence.

Arrive early to avoid the crowds. We arrived around noon in mid June. Plenty of parking and only a 15-20 wait to get in despite the fact that Google said “as busy as it gets”. This is a vast site with many monuments to see. The paths from one building to the next are good but there is plenty of walking. There is an excellent cafe near the main monuments. With fresh orange juice and good snacks and meals at affordable prices.

The place itself it's amazing, but they sold a ticket for a holiday when entry was free and didn't refund my money, it was not cheap... I ask for the refund and they didn't gave me, I advice to buy tickets in the local.

It was a great experience. Rent the audio player. Packed with the complete history. Take or buy water. It is a hot and dry walk.

Trip needs to clean up this site. Numerous tour operators have created their own separate TA site. This UNESCO site is an essential for any traveler. The 3 temples from the East entrance are the best to visit. March 2022 - nothing is crowded.

A visit to the Valley of the Temples is definitely worth it. The sites are close together and easily accessible even with children. We got a taxi to the top temple and walked down. Beautiful views of Agrigento.

A fascinating place with many things to view, read about, discuss ,observe and photograph. The site is well laid out with paths to follow but you do need good walking shoes. However do NOT purchase the audio guide as it is accompanied by a map which is almost impossible to follow!! We were not alone in this opinion as some people were complaining and demanding their money back!! We also purchased a ticket to visit the museum. We were given directions on getting there by several site workers, we followed the instructions, including walking along a busy road with no footpath, and never found it! Again we were not alone and when we returned to the entrance, people were demanding the return of their money ! An interesting place but poorly organised! Do not pay for any extras, they are a rip off!!

There are 9 temples in varing levels of completeness. The temple of Concord being the most complete and amazing to view.you need a guide who has a good knowledge of the local area to get the most out of this visit
