Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena

The whiteness of the beaches, the transparency and the color of the sea recall Polynesian images, but the intense scent of the Mediterranean scrub and the natural sculptures of pink granite leave no doubt: we are in Sardinia, in the heart of the Mediterranean. The main islands of the park that wind to the north in the wide and suggestive stretch of sea between the Strait of Bonifacio and the Costa Smeralda are: La Maddalena, Caprera, S. Stefano, Spargi, Budelli, Razzoli, S. Maria , plus a myriad of islets, including Mortorio, Soffi and Nibani. Large and small islands that together form an authentic masterpiece of nature: rocks sculpted by the wind, beaches with very white or magically pink sands, inlets, blue depths and shallow waters where you can reflect yourself as in a mirror. An underwater world populated by thousands of animal and plant species.

La Maddalena boat tour offers an enjoyable way to explore the arcipelago . Perfect organization and a very, very tasty lunch based on pasta with tomato sauce Highly Racommended!!!!

Not the best value for money. Day felt a bit rushed and worried we’d be left behind as there wasn’t any contact with the provider. The last 2 ‘stops’ are just the boat going past islands.

Great to see the amazing islands and gorgeous blue seas. Lovely boat clean toilets, crew were very friendly and drinks were reasonably priced. Pasta was simple and tasty. Only downside was when arriving at the small beaches there were other boats there too which made them crowded (obviously, I don’t know what I was expecting). Been on other boat trips which had more of a party atmosphere (music playing) but definitely worth doing.

The boat tour in the La Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia was a great experience! We were picked up in Olbia in a small, air-conditioned bus (for max. 20 people) and then brought to the port of Cannigione. From there we took a boat to the archipelago. This boat offered the possibility to sit outside or inside, had clean toilets and a bar. It was quite crowded, and I would suggest to take a sun hat and a jacket. The tour included three stops: 1. Isola Santa Maria, where we had approx. an hour to take a bath or do a small walk to a nice view point; the 2. stop was Isola Spargi for 1.5h. There was only the possibility to take a bath, but it was such a marvelous place that the time flew by super fast. The last stop 3. La Maddalena (1.5h) gave us the possibility to visit the city, get some coffee and ice cream and do some shopping. Lunch was included in the tour and was a simple but delicious pasta with tomato sauce. We ate lunch on the boat in the middle of the beautiful sea. The beauty of the landscape and sea is absolutely breathtaking! I can only recommend the tour, if you do not want to charter a boat on your own. It was a long day, but absolutely well organized and with enough time to take a bath and enjoy the mediterran sea :)

It was an absolute rip off! Weather was bad and they did the tour anyways, they wont take you to the locations advertised on the brochure. They have no clue and people are absolutely rude.

The booking agent from Ape Romantic was so aggressive for asking price questions about the drop off. The boat is also overcrowded which is not safe during emergencies.

We took this trip yesterday. It definitely doesn’t worth the price. The amount of time you spent in Maddalena is only 1 hour. They took us somewhere to swim and that was the longest break, it was 1,5 hour the beach was nice but full of jellyfishes no one was able to swim. I saw one guy who tried to swim got stung by a jellyfish. Isola Santa Maria was nice but we stopped there only for an hour. You always find yourself rushing back to the boat in the most enjoyable moment. Overall we couldn’t swim more than 5 min. You spend a lot of time in the boat and it is packed. They put 8 people in every table. It is not a pleasant ride. There is no gap. It’s like Paris Metro. Yes we saw many places in one day but it was only from the boat.

Beautiful scenery on the tour hence the three stars. The tour itself was overcrowded, the crew unfriendly and disinterested in their paying clients. The food thrown together, was passable at best, no water even offered.

There was too many people for those tiny locations. It was unfortunate to see that many persons in those beautiful scenery.
