If you have plenty of time and are into walking on gravel and up hills do visit. I stupidly thought it was a garden not just trees and statues.. Seem to take forever just to exit.

We were told beforehand that the palace was the highlight of this visit—and it was. The gardens were nothing special, but the palace made up for that and was worth the price of admission (€12 extra). Google Maps gave us a crazy way to get there that took 35 minutes of steep hills. The return trip took 15 minutes over the Ponte Vecchio!!

It has not been maintained . We had visited the gardens years ago & it was impressive. We loved it so much we wanted to visit again-it was really disappointing.

Overrated and not maintained, compare to other parks in europé is not worth going IMO. To be honest not so much to ser either

I’d definitely recommend buying tickets online but don’t be conned - they should only cost 10 euros. It was great to walk past a 200m long queue. Firstly, the gardens are impressive. However, one in our group is a gardener and he gave a running commentary on hedges that were uneven and needing replaying, lawns that need weeding and plants self-seeding. It look unkempt from a gardener’s perspective. The signage wasn’t great. We walked uphill in the heat to the Coffee house only to discover it was closed. My advice - bring a packed lunch with drinks and make an afternoon of it; sunbathing and picnicking on the lawns.

Enchanting place where one can wander for hours. One of the true places in Florence where although touristy you don’t see too many people because the gardens are so vast. Great views

I really have an issue with the Dullard that throw the word awesome around. There are much better ways to communicate the being an obsequious moron. That being said the word awesome would be an appropriate adjective for these gardens. With old describe them as brilliant and mesmerizing. Well worth the visit and plan on spending hours strolling, mixture taking and reflecting.

In bassa stagione costa 18 euro mentre in alta 38.
