We had a rocky start to our tour when we could not find our driver. I called the contact number given several times and received no response. Finally at 8:20 (our pickup was scheduled for 8:00) our driver calls very angry and we were able to find each other. He did not speak English and used a translator app to scold us for being late (even though we were not) and insisted we booked as a group of two people even though I showed him our reservation confirmation stating we were a group of 3. I should also add that we booked several private tours during our time in Italy and all other drivers entered our hotel to pick us up with no issue. He drove very aggressively and stopped to get gas even though he kept on saying we were late. We ended up going to a different dairy farm because we were late. It was a nice tour and then we resumed our original tour and continued to the wine shop. We arrived at our next destination on time but everyone else was late so we had to wait around for them for 20 minutes which seemed odd since us being late for the first portion caused our tour to change. The woman at the wine shop was very nice and knowledgeable but kept on having to stop midway during the tour to tend to customers. Our favorite part was our last stop which was the balsamic tasting and lunch. Overall this tour was very overpriced, the driver was very rude and it was not well organized.

The Giacobazzi tour and tasting were excellent. The vehicle was a comfortable size for us 4 brothers.

This day-long adventure is a great way to see some of the countryside and attractions just outside the city of Bologna. You are assigned a driver who picks you up at your hotel and takes you to three different (and otherwise unrelated) points of interest, where you join other tourists for the tours at those points. Our driver was friendly and courteous. His English was limited, but he was a driver, not a tour guide! Each point of interest had its own tour guide, and their English was excellent. The three points of interest on our outing were a Parmigiano cheese factory, a wine producer with its museum of wine production, and a balsamic vinegar producer just outside Modena, where we also had lunch. Each location offered tastings and a gift shop, but above all it was fascinating to learn about the different production techniques and to see them in action.

What a fantastic experience, our driver Nazzaro was fab, very polite and drove us around in a very safe manner. The hosts at each destination were fantastic, taking great pride in their tours and we found it so interesting, we learned so much! Lunch! Wow! What can I say we were treated like royalty. I would recommend this experience to all! Thanks Again, Eileen and Mike

The people were great. We are from New Zealand and our Italian is minimal, and we really appreciated the hosts making us feel welcomed and speaking English. Our driver Adriano was excellent! Recommend this experience!

The entire trip was wonderful, very interesting to see the parmegiano and balsamic production. The lunch at the acetaia was very tasty, well paired with balsamic varieties. The pearl of the day was the winery's museum, it was fantastic to find those formula1 cars there, toghether with the other exhibits. Giacobazzi wines are very good.
