Overall a terrible experience. Viator works with a local vendor and they don’t follow or honor what you are booking or the time slots of your reservations. Instead they elected to deceive us and later argue to keep our money. Further, Viator list the tickets under multiple different names and “additional access” when it is all the same ticket and one price in order to charge more. After calling Viator they refused to give us a full refund and did not care about our documentation proving the local shop is lying. Total scam. Don’t use them while in Florence.

We actually climbed the bell tower because our dome climb was not at the time I purchased, it was 2 hours later. Not sure how that happened…the bell tower was a great climb and everything that comes with the ticket is nice. The catacombs were really cool

Climbing inside Brunelleschi's dome and seeing the internal construction was a dream of mine for years. An advanced reservation is the only way to go. The climb indeed took some effort, but one can rest along the way. The view from the base of the dome down into the sanctuary was amazing. Then from the top the view of the city was breathtaking. There are a lot of places in the world where one can view a city from a height, but this was truly the best! If you are afraid of heights, like I am, you won't approach the railing, but standing back against the wall was fine. Though being an engineer I understood much of the structure I was looking at, it would have been nice if there were a guided version of the climb with a technical explanation.

Amazing at the top....if you have asthma. bring an inhaler. It is a difficult walk, took about 25 minutes to the top, but worth the view. it is a LOT of steps. AMAZING panoramic view of city and so close to the dome ceiling pictures, it is gorgeous.

We got to pick up our tickets and they told us the tour was full! We asked for the credit and it too a while to get it! Not good

The walk up the dome is worth it. We paid for skip the line tickets but the explanation was insufficient and we never found how to get into the chapel after our climb.

We had a great tour with our guide mario, who was very informative and charming. I had a bit of an issue with my ticket as I misplaced it, but jennny the tour woman sorted me out straight away, very thankful 🙏
