Our first stop takes us to a historical winery in the heart of the Chianti Classico, where you'll obtain great insight into how Chianti wines are produced. Inside the wine cellar, a passionate winemaker will delight your tastebuds with four diverse wines and foods from the region.

Our trip then continues to the village of Greve, navigator Giovanni da Verrazzano's birth home. As you stroll down Greve's historic "market" square, you'll admire the arcades and facet that houses the prestigious Chianti region wine festival every year. You'll have time to stroll the streets and visit the various boutiques that sell beautiful local crafts.

From Greve, we'll take the historical "Via Chiantigiana" across the heart of Tuscany's Chianti Classico's rolling hills and vibrant landscape. We'll arrive in the Sienese area of Chianti Classico, where we will visit a family-run winery. Guided by a winemaker, you'll be introduced to the amazing cellars where you'll taste four different wines and local products, and then visit the picturesque aromatic garden.

Our final stop is Castellina, an Etruscan village located in a fortified hilltop. Castellina is among the most vibrant and picturesque areas of Chianti. As you walk through the medieval "Via delle Volte", the tour leader will guide you along the charming, historic houses located in the town center. You'll have time to explore the squares and peruse the shops.
