The hospitality was beyond wonderful! The tiramisu we made was delicious. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lucca.

This can’t even be rated -10 maybe. The most memorable.. you’re kidding. The whole thing was the worst. We walked out. What is memorable is my wife’s anger and disappointment. Was suppose to be a highlight for her. Completely unacceptable. I’ve travelled the world and utilized Hosts and services globally. Never have I felt so ripped off to this Extreme. I’ll be writing my reviews, included will be everyone involved. Viator included My wife and I were bait & switched. There was no Mama, no Papa either- The host was not the normal host but a kid who knew nothing. Could not even open a bottle of wine.

We loved Lucina and her family! They were warm and welcoming. We laughed most of the evening and were entertained by stories of the family. Our family made ravioli and a noodle with pesto, along with Taramasu. Lucina corrected a few of our misunderstandings with making pasta. Making pasta is a labor of love and our family cannot wait to prepare it when we arrive home. I cannot recommend Lucina and her family highly enough (The experience was truly a family affair).

We had a great time making pasta and tiramisu with Pablo and Danielle. They warmly welcomed us into a private home within the Lucca walls. We got our hands sticky making everything from scratch while Danielle made two delicious sauces so that we could enjoy the pasta and dessert for lunch. Was a great experience for us and our 8 year old daughter. Highly recommend!

We had a terrible experience. First, the company switched the cooks on us three times. Then they moved the experience from within Lucca city walls to several miles outside of the city. When I called the chef, we discovered she spoke NO English. The company insisted that the home cook would help us, but she couldn’t. So… we never had our much-anticipated cooking class. I certainly expect we get a refund! This was so disappointing. In fact, it was the only negative experience we had during our entire Italy adventure.

Our cooking experience with Antonietta was a wonderful surprise! We booked the class not quite sure what to expect but we always enjoy new experiences. What an evening! Antonietta and her husband, Pierro, were quintessential Italian hosts. We knew we were in for a treat as soon as Pierro picked us up. He is very charming and fun to talk with. Upon arriving, Antonietta brought us some fresh bruschetta and we got to know each other through our very nice translator, Vittoria. We proceeded to a traditional Italian kitchen where Antonietta gave us a personal hands on experience making tiramisu and pasta. She was very instructive and taught us something that we hope to use in the future. Once we finished making our tiramisu and pasta, Antonietta cooked our pasta and we enjoyed an incredible classic Italian meal together with wine and great conversation. This was a fantastic experience and we would recommend it to anyone!

Spending the evening in Antoinette’s home was one of the highlights of our trip. Our translator was excellent and we not only learned some authentic recipes and had a delicious meal but also felt we learned so much about the local area and people. Highly recommend this experience.

We had a lovely experience learning to make tiramisu, fresh pasta, and Silvia’s family recipe, “nudies” (spinach ricotta pasta lightly rolled in flower). We were lucky enough to be the only ones booked for this experience, so my wife and I enjoyed a very intimate personalized class and dinner with Silvia. Silvia’s home was beautiful and we really enjoyed cooling nd hanging out there. Highly recommend.

A truly Incredible and memorable experience to be brought into this family's home for the cooking class! Viator sent the wrong information for our meeting point but the host was gracious and had her Dad pick us up, the class waited for us to arrive before starting so we didn't miss anything. A warm and friendly experience with food prepared that was out of this world GOOD! Delizioso!!!
