Fun making pasta &tiramisu with friendly locals in their home. They were welcoming & knowledgeable. The meal we prepared was one of the best we’ve had on this vacation! Highly recommended!!

Today we did the small group pasta and tiramisu class in Genoa. Our hosts were Tiziana and Roberto and they graciously invited us into their home. There were six of us which included my two sisters and their husbands along with my husband and myself. We made the tiramisu first so that it could refrigerate. While making the tiramisu, there was focaccia bread and some outstanding pesto she had made. Then, we each made ball of dough for the pasta. We were making lasagna with an pesto sauce and herb and pesto ravioli with a walnut sauce. Since the dough needed to rest for thirty minutes, Tiziana had a delicious spread of several meats, cheese, pickles and bread on two trays for us to enjoy. Next we made the lasagna and ravioli from our pasta dough. We learned how to make both and were each able to participate in the process. Tiziana and Roberto were gracious hosts and we enjoyed getting to know both of them while we cooked and ate the amazing food we had prepared. It was a wonderful time. We loved it so much. Thank you to you both!!

We signed up for the class and were very excited to take a class on cooking in Italy. We choose it because we could learn in English as we did not speak very much Italian. When we arrived, the two people who greeted us used an app to translate since they didn’t speak any English. We explained it was difficult to learn a cooking method if we couldn’t communicate and needed an app which would be difficult to use while cooking with our hands. We explained that it was booked because it would be in a language we understood and wished to just cancel. The woman became irate and rude. The man understood and agreed to the refund. We left and asked for a refund through the app but was told by the company that they would not refund us even though the person we booked it with agreed to the refund. This was a terrible way to end our trip in Italy and is the worst mistake we made on our honeymoon. Awful way to run a business that should be about having a great time enjoying great food!!

Our family had such a wonderful time during this small cooking class! Our hosts graciously invited us to their home and told us stories about their family, culture and life in Italy. This was an incredibly unique experience where I learned new skills such as making pasta by hand but more importantly I made such a great human connection with local people in Genoa. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to prioritize family experiences and wholesome fun :)

A very good experience. Andrea and Barbara were excellent hosts. We truly enjoyed making and eating tarimisu and ravioli. Our lunch included additional food prepared by Andrea. There were only 2 of us in the group, which made for a very personal experience and gave us time to get to know Andrea and his mother. Thank you!!!

Tiziana and Roberto treated me and my wife like family. Their home and kitchen are a beautiful, quiet, and peaceful space to learn the art of cooking. Tiziana is a masterful, patient, and passionate teacher. Roberto actively videos and photographs your experience as well so you can focus on enjoying the learning experience. He also shared many historical facts and travel tips with us . These tips helped us get the most out of trip. We went without bus tours or taxis and went the route he advised and truly made a world of difference in our experience in the city. We were able to see all the major landmarks with the information he provided. He gave us a step by step breakdown of where to go upon leaving their place. We ended up seeing all the special spots and getting back to our ship with time to spare to look at the shops along the way. This would not be possible if we aimlessly looked for these spots and took bus or taxi services around town. On foot you make a better use of your time. Their home and kitchen are clean and they are so kind as to share their space with their guests. You can really feel the love when you first walk up the alleyway to their home. The wine and the coffee were a wonderful addition to the experience as well. They also shared some homemade focaccia and pesto with us. Which was delicious and unlike any I’ve ever experienced. As Tiziana and Roberto said, “what’s fresher than cooking it yourself?” How true those words are. The experience for me and my wife on our honeymoon was truly a breathtaking and memorable one. We thank them for hosting us and for the love they put into making our day with them a magical and tasty memory. Thank you both so much!

We had a great evening learning to make pasta in traditional ways with Andrea and his family. As our main chef Andrea was knowledgable about the courses and the region and was very friendly and accommodating. The course ended with a meal with his family that was one of the highlights of our trip!

Tiriana and Roberto were charming hosts. We learned so much about Genoa and they shared personal stories. Tiriana taught us how to make spaghetti and raviolis, which were absolutely delicious. This was so much more than we were expecting thanks to our warm hosts who gave us a few hours of feeling like family. We highly recommend this class you won’t be disappointed.

The Oliveri family was so welcoming. Our group of 8 made 2 delicious pastas and tiramasu. It was a great family meal.
