The most fantastic and enjoyable experience, with 2 wonderful hostesses in Modena. We learnt to make tagliatelle, tortelloni and tortellini, as well as tiramisu. We were made to feel so welcome by our hostesses and had such a great time from start to finish. Would highly recommend if you’d like a truly authentic and fun experience.

Unique personal experience in a local home. Alena was truly hospitable sharing her family recipes and stories. Came as strangers. Left as family after a few hours working flour and egg into dough and pasta. Reintroduced to Lambrusco, Modena’s local sparkling wine bringing back memories of my own Mom circa 1978. Viator should correct the description to exclude Tiramisu which is not local to the region and requires two days to prepare. Description misleading. We made an alternate chocolate cake, equally fantastic.

It was a wonderful experience.. Raffaela welcomed us in her beautiful furnished appartment. She taught us how to prepare two sorts of pasta, and Tiramisu and the tasty starters. She was the perfect host, gave us lots of good cooking hints, and created a warm family atmosphere. We fully enjoyed this event!

It was a wonderful evening! It should be mentioned that, at least for us, it was more of an "experience" than a hands-on cooking class. We mostly just sat and watched one of the hosts make the tiramisu and pasta dough, the only hands on thing I did was roll out the dough for the pasta and shape a few tortelloni. We did not even watch them actually cook the pasta. So I would describe the experience more as you were invited over for dinner than a class of any sort. Although definitely the best part was just hanging out with the two hosts. They were both very welcoming, kind, had vibrant personalities, and overall just very pleasant to get to know and spend the evening with. All the food and wine served was also very good!
