Excellent. Best experience out of a whole month in Firenze. Advice book early in your stay as you learn so much more than just cooking. Tommaso was an exceptional chef and a “Bellissimo” human being as well. Grazie Mille Florencetown and Tommaso.

We enjoyed the day (6 hours) of talking with our chef, Frederico, about Italian food with a little history background. He has an obvious passion for what he does. The market tour to buy the groceries was mixed with education about what we were looking at and a couple tastings. The food we cooked was fantastic.

The Cooking Masterclass & Food Walking Tour was fantastic! Federico, the chef for our class of 10, was very personable, informative and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes he helped us create. The walking tour was delightful. We sampled delicacies at two bakeries and then moved on to the Mercato, where we sampled the most wonderful cheese, and got the chicken for one of the dishes we made. This was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Florence!

Frederico put us all at ease with a font of culinary information along with a self deprivation sense of humor and an abundance of politeness. All components that he was involved with were exceptional. He explained I'm detail the complexities of the recipes, and regularly compared the "Nonna" style of cooking with more updated techniques. He was kind and patient with our dough rolling and make us all feel competent!! Yay Frederico!! Please note that the booking office failed to email as the day before with an updated mtg address which caused us to miss the 1st 45 min of the tour. They did not inform our chef as to what was happening. Despot this, Frederico left us a note as to where to find him and was apologetic even though what happened was not his fault. The touring company would not refund any portion of our expenses. I tell you this as consumers to check with the booking office the day before your event if you do not receive an email, so that you can confirm your mtg address.

Chef Frederico Marco and Stefano were amazing. Made us feel at home and taught us so many cooking tips. The walking tour to get ingredients was amazing. The best cooking class I have ever attended and I have done dozens. Make sure you relax and enjoy the entire 5 hour experience. Also, don’t eat a big breakfast if you’re doing the morning/lunch session. The meal is 5 courses!

We had a very special treat of being the only people in the class so it was wonderful. David and Caterine were personable, fun to be with - had a great visit to bakeries, a coffee shop, the market - where we met locals. Then back to the class were we were very hands-on in making pesto and pasta! Excellent fun time - would highly recommend

We had a wonderful experience with master chef Caterina. The cooking class was excellent and the food was amazing. Our class was day after Easter do markets were closed. Highly recommend this with family.

Class was good. But they didn’t show us how to make pizza sauce. Pizza had too much of semolina. And gelato was very plain.. Not the best gelato I have tasted

Dan S

A ton of fun with a very charismatic instructor who spoke perfect English. After an hour of touring the market, we then learned how to make two types of pasta and tiramisu. We actually enjoyed this more because we were with other people and could enjoy it more as a communal experience, so in hindsight we're glad we didn't do a private cooking class. This was exactly what we hoped it would be and in particular our two 12-year-old daughters loved it!

The cooking class was the most fun activity we did while we were in Florence! Chefs Catarina and David were fantastic. There were four in our group, including two teens. They also agreed it was a fun day. The class was pretty full the day we did it, with about 16 people. The market tour was fairly quick, and interesting. Got tips on what to look for when buying various items. We made tiramisu, and rolled our own pasta. The team did majority of the work, by making sauces and fillings. Plus, they did the dishes!
