Delizioso!! Alberto is not only an instructor, but also an amazing host. We started with coffee, orange juice, and focaccia. Then, we learned how to make traditional dough, genovese pesto, and "picagge matte" pasta. Alberto explained the ancient history of the dish, its ingredients (super fresh, DOP) and how it's made. We also enjoyed a rooftop view, dessert, and apertif. 100% recommend for travelers to Genova! (One quick note that the spot is tricky to find, since it's in a small alley behind Piazza Valoria.)

This evening of making pasta and pesto with Alberto was amazing! He was so personable and knowledgeable about cooking and Italian culture. It was a highlight of our trip to Italy. I would highly recommend this to all who are interested! My daughter and her friend went on and on about how much they learned.

Take this class! My husband and I took Alberto’s class during our honeymoon and had such a great time! With excellent guidance, we made our own delicious pasta and genovese pesto and learned a lot about the history of genovese cooking as well. Thanks so much, Alberto!

We had an absolutely fabulous time with Alberto!! He was so welcoming and kind. His rooftop terrace was beautiful and the perfect spot for this cooking class. He fed us many different native Genovese dishes and explained the importance of each ingredient. The food was all SOOOO good! Regular pesto will never compare to the AMAZING pesto he taught us to make. We are so glad we did this class with Alberto and cannot recommend this enough.
