I love Martina! She was an excellent tour guide. While walking around, she pointed out the different influences of the Medieval and Renaissance periods in the architecture. Very kind when answering my overly simplistic questions. She also made sure to ask what I was interested in so she covered all the bases. Our last stop was a bite to eat at a local panini shop with a bit of wine. Delicious! Very much enjoyed the tour around Florence with her.

We met with MaRiLisa right on time for a three hour walk/stroll through Florence. We strolled the historic streets and sites, learning the history in the local, family businesses backstreets of Florence. We began near the western arch to the city and ended on the eastern side, on the north side of the river. Near the end we toured the leather school/factory and watched the leathersmiths work their magic on the different pieces they were working on. All in all a delightful three hours with the knowledgeable, personable MaRiLisa, learning history and how life is lived here today.

Florence is a city that I have wanted to visited for many years and I could literally not have picked a better tour guide than Jacopo in that he is a local Florentino and what better way to see the city than with a local? Jacopo took his time in guiding me around the city as we went to explore the many Architectural wonders and artifacts that Florence has to offer and places that I wanted to see of personal interest and explanation of the historical importance of the river Arno and the connection with the development of the city. I have been on many public and private tours and have felt that at times they were sometimes rushed but I like the ease of Pace that Jacopo took to make sure that I did not miss anything and helps the fact that he is pretty open to be able to ask anything and might add he does have a great sense of humour in which I discovered he is also a stand up comedian which he probably will not like me mentioning 🤣 …anyhow rest assured!! I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is planning to visit Florence and needs a tour guide. Thank you for showing me around your beautiful City Jacopo 😊
