Your Itinerary

Florence

Pickup and departure for Cinque Terre National Park. The drive from Florence to Cinque Terre lasts for about 2 hours. NB: If you do not provide a pickup location for your private tour, our default meeting point is: Borgo Ognissanti 70, Florence, Italy.

La Spezia

Your direct drive from Florence by private transportation stops in La Spezia. From here, you will take the train to the first fishing village, ride that takes only 13 minutes and gives you more time to enjoy Cinque Terre.

Corniglia

First village to be visited. It is the smallest of the Cinque Terre villages. It is known as the “Balcony of the Cinque Terre”.

Manarola

Second village to be visited. Manarola is one of the most charming and romantic of the Cinque Terre villages. The village is all ups and downs, with steep narrow alleys leading to the sea.

Vernazza

Third village to be visited. Vernazza is unique in Cinque Terre because of the small port that was built allowing ships to land in the protected bay. Here you can visit the Church of Santa Margherita d’Antiochia built in 1318 or seat down in front of the Ligurian Sea tasting one of the best gelato in Italy. Here you will enjoy a typical Ligurian lunch in a restaurant overlooking the sea and the impressive landscape.

Monterosso al Mare

Fourth village to be visited. Monterosso al Mare is the largest out of the five coastal villages. The village is located on hills cultivated with lemons, vines and olives. From here, you will take a scenic boat ride to the next village Riomaggiore.

Riomaggiore

Fifth and last village to be visited. Riomaggiore climbs up along the ridges overlooking the sea and it is characterized by typical stone houses with colourful facades and slate-roofs.

La Spezia

Back to La Spezia. Enjoy the ride back to Florence by private transportation.

Florence

Drop-off. The tour will generally end where it started.

Our tour guide Daria was extremely knowledgeable. Very easy going and friendly, it felt like she was part of our family, that’s how friendly it felt ! I would definitely recommend Entropea tours to anyone thinking of using them.

Simply one of the best day trips from Florence. Angel was an incredible host that helped us navigate the entire Cinque Terre in one day. The day included boat and train rides through the Cinque Terre, followed by an amazing Ligurian meal at one of the local restaurants. Angel coordinated everything to avoid crowds and maximize our experience. He was a pleasure to travel with and we could not recommend him more highly. We’ll definitely be back!

If we were just reviewing our experience with Kristin, our guide, we would give this tour 5 stars. She was excellent!! Very pleasant to spend the day with and showed us a great time and wonderful experience of the 5 towns. Only 3 stars because of the owner, Angel, who was not very helpful and seemed uncaring about the situation that we found ourselves in during the trip. The electric car that we were in had a MAJOR ISSUE with its ability to charge ( which he was well aware of before we left for the coast from Florence). We were trying to return to Florence but the car did not charge throughout the day. We were stuck in a small town, in the dark and in the cold, until it charged long enough to get us to a gas station that was a “super charge” portal. We ended up eating bread and packaged cheese and meat for dinner!! Not really worth the $1100 euro (dollars) that we spent. Arrived home 2 hours late and exhausted! Poor Kristen was left to apologize for something that she had nothing to do with. She did her best and we were grateful for her. Worst part, no apology or email from Angel acknowledging the scary position that we were place in that evening.

My husband and I were so fortunate to find the perfect Cinque Terre Private Day Tour hosted by Enotropea. We couldn’t have asked for a more charming, knowledgable and local expert than our guide Daria. We never imagined that we would be able to get to visit all five ancient fishing villages in a single day - we are not as spry as we once were. But despite the crowds, Daria skillfully shepherded us by ferry and train to each one of these unique UNESCO World Heritage sites pointing out the most desirable post-card pretty sites topped off by a fantastic lunch of the freshest seafood I’ve ever tasted at a prime spot high on a hill overlooking Monterosso. Because of Daria’s familiarity with the locals, she is clearly a known and respected guide throughout Cinque Terre, our trip was hassle free and much more enjoyable than had we made our own arrangements. Truly a magical trip definitely worth every euro.

My boyfriend and I took a private Cinque Terre tour with Belen in June of 2022. 1.5 years later, we still talk fondly of our trip with Belen as she made sure we had an unforgettable experience. Belen was timely, professional, but most of all kind. Our tour was like seeing Cinque Terre with an old local friend who knew all the best spots - not just the touristy ones! Book this tour - you won’t regret it.

Our trip to the 5 towns of Cinque Terre was a highlight of our Italy trip. Our guide, Fabio, was excellent. He had tremendous knowledge of the area, and most locals in the towns knew him well. We could not recommend this trip enough - Cinque Terre is a must see on any trip to Italy

We had a lovely tour, We met Niccoletta at the square , She was so kind & full of amazing facts about Florence, We walked around the sites of the Duomo & Arno River & learned so much! She adapts to the pace you need to go, she had a great sense of humor & by the end of the tour , she felt like an old friend, we went to see the David & we passed all the long lines to get into the museum, she was very informative about the paintings, sculptures & of course, the David, which was a highlight of the tour ,that we will never forget , she knows Florence like the back of her hand & we were so happy to take all the information she had, in, We fully recommend this tour!

No question, Cinque Terre is beautiful. However, the "included lunch and a wine tasting in Monterosso" and "From here (Monterrosso), you will take a scenic boat ride to the next village Riomaggiore" were not provided by the tour company, Enotropea Wine Tours which is the local company contracted by Viator. Even when I showed the description to the guide, she said she had to follow the owner's rules as to what could be provided on the tour. So we only had a short ferry ride from Riomaggiore to the next village Manarola versus a ferry ride spanning all 5 villages. Also, we had a glass of wine in Corniglia, but no wine tasting in Monterroso. Very disappointing. I complained to Viator, the company whom I paid for the tour, and they said they wouldn't do anything to make amends.

Our guide Danieli was wonderful and the scenery of Cinque Terre were the highlights. Beautiful vista’s ad Danieli’s detailed explanations enhanced the tour. He was a wealth of information both on our 2 hour ride from Florence…and on our return trip. Great guide!! He truly felt bad about the train delays. The only negatives ….no reflection on Viator or Danieli..we’re the crowds of people in all 5 towns and the very poor train service. We wasted about 90 minutes on delayed trains and the hordes of tourists made it almost impossible to keep with our schedule. It was a great tour but when we got back to Florence we were exhausted from standing and waiting and from the mobs of people that choked us at every beautiful picture site and on every train.
