Our driver will pick you up at your location (hotel, B&B or apartment) and take you on an unforgettable journey through the rolling hills of Tuscany.
We will cross the wine route called "Via Chiantigiana". This road is one of the most beautiful wine roads in Tuscany, we will drive through the rolling Tuscan hills, among olive groves, cypress trees and vineyards. We will stop along the way to take beautiful postcard photos.
San Donato in Poggio
• Arrived in the Chianti Classico area, the first stop will be at one historic winery that has been producing Chianti for many generations, where you will receive a short lesson on winemaking techniques followed by a delicious wine tasting of Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan and Chianti Riserva.
• Afterwards we will reach the second family run winery, where we will enjoy a fabulous Tuscan lunch with home made pasta, bruschetta and pecorino cheese. All dishes will be paired with different tuscan wines to enhance the taste: Red of Tuscany, Chianti, Rosè and more...
• In the afternoon we will move to a third cellar, for a last special tasting of other Tuscan wines. (White of Tuscany, Vernaccia, Supertuscan and Chianti Classico "Black Rooster").
At the end of the tour, you will certainly be able to recognize and choose the best Tuscan wines to pair with any type of lunch or dinner and you will have learned more about the lifestyle in our beautiful countryside.
