Your Itinerary

Pantheon

The Pantheon is a former Roman temple, now a church, in Rome, Italy, on the site of an earlier temple commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). It was completed by the emperor Hadrian and probably dedicated about 126 AD. Its date of construction is uncertain, because Hadrian chose not to inscribe the new temple but rather to retain the inscription of Agrippa's older temple, which had burned down.

Piazza del Popolo is a large urban square in Rome. The name in modern Italian literally means "People's Square", but historically it derives from the poplars (populus in Latin, pioppo in Italian) after which the church of Santa Maria del Popolo, in the northeast corner of the piazza, takes its name.

Trinita dei Monti

The Church of Santissima Trinità dei Monti, often called simply Trinità dei Monti, is a Roman Catholic late Renaissance titular church. It is best known for its position above the Spanish Steps which lead down to the famous Piazza di Spagna. Great guide, very knowledgeable and helpful. Driver was also excellent as was the van. Too bad it rained most of the day.

The whole experience was fantastic. I am really bad with names, but both the driver and the tour guide were great. The tour guide was actually more than great. She showed us all around Rome with in depth information about everything we saw.
It was a no rush, but super fulfilling day for us.
We visited many ports on our cruise, but this was, by far, the most memorable of all and it was due to the tour guide!
