We had so much fun cooking with Luca in his lovely home. He was so kind and was an excellent teacher! It truly was one of our favorite parts of our trip and it was so special meeting his family and enjoying the meal in the comfort of his own home which was very lovely. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for an authentic experience! Thank you to Luca and his family for treating us like family :)

This was my second class with Cecelia -- the first was three years ago and it was so wonderful that, when I knew I would be returning to Florence this week with 2 friends, I had to book another class with Cecilia! She has a lovely home overlooking Florence and a very functional and well-designed kitchen. Her recipes are genuinely Tuscan, as she is a native, and are delicious-- and not too complicated to prepare on one's own at home. She is as charming as her food is delicious and she was very flexible with our needs and easy to work with. If you are going to have a cooking class experience in Florence, there is no one better to do it with than Cecilia. Even experienced cooks will learn a lot from her!

Claudia and her husband were amazing hosts. It was a highlight for us during our trip. If you are looking for a local experience, this is it. Spectacular views and company. We all dined together in their glass atrium overlooking Florence. Beautiful

Massimiliano, the home owner and chef was very friendly and kind in exposing us the history and how to cook what we ate... and what's more was that everything we ate was super!

It was lovely to have the experience of joining a local in their home and being shown some of the dishes from the area. My host Massimiliano was very welcoming and explained the processes involved in making the food. Good food, wine and company.

Three of us had the opportunity to have dinner at Cecilia's home. The food was fabulous and the conversation enjoyable. When we arrive, Cecilia had the first course ready, but was waiting to prepare the gnocchi until we arrived. She offered to let us join her in the preparation. I'm looking forward to taking my new found skills to make gnocchi at home. She taught us how to make it as well as how to cook it. The food was very good and fresh. I've even asked her to send me a couple of the recipes so that I can prepare them at home. Our favorite dishes were the chicken liver pate and the tiramisu. It was the best tiramisu I've ever had. Overall I would recommend this experience for your time in Italy. Not only was it a nice dinner, but we got to learn a lot about life in Italy.

Me and my fiancé had a great experience cooking with Giovanni at his lovely home. Giovanni’s home was beautiful, warm and lovely. For our class we cooked an antipasti, pasta and dessert. We enjoyed great wine, conversation and a delicious meal. We definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking to do a cooking class with a truly authentic Italian experience.

In February 2019, four of us had the opportunity to make lunch with Cecelia. Because we had one person with a gluten allergy, she adapted the planned menu to accommodate that. She put us to work to prepare a roast pork loan, risotto with asparagus, polenta, and a lovely pear in wine sauce with gelato. Cecelia was utterly charming, she immediately made us feel completely welcome and comfortable being in her home (which had amazing views of the city), gave us some great cooking tips and provided us with the recipes. It was, by far, one of our favorite activities and the best meal that we had while in Florence.

At the last minute, we had the opportunity to spend a very pleasant evening at the home of our host Cecilia. Not only did she demonstrate the way to easily prepare tagliatelle (I've always been hesitant to make pasta myself) but she let us have a go at it, too, showing us some of the "tricks" only an experienced pasta maker would know. Making the evening all the more pleasant, Cecilia is also a wonderful conversationalist. The table was immaculate covered with a beautiful Florentine tablecloth, hand embroidered by her grandmother! And the view of the Duomo in the distance from her dining room was breathtaking. Tagliatelle and a creamy truffle sauce! Everything was excellent. Afterward, Cecilia even sent me the recipe for her homemade Biscotti di Prato. I sent her a couple of photos of our evening with her, but I promised her that the next photos I send will be of me making tagliatelle myself at home. A wonderful experience!
