My wife and I had an amazing time on this tour. The day started off great with a drive up Vesuvius then hiking to the top of the crater. After that we went to a winery where we had a great selection of their wines paired with delicious food. Our driver, Guido (which actually means I drive in Italian), made the trip incredibly special. He was super knowledgeable, funny and friendly. The tour itself was great, but if you end up with Guido as your tour guide you are going to have a blast.

Amazing experience ! Trekking up to the crater of volcano, and then total relax enjoying food and wine experience was really good choice. Everything well organised!

De excursie is de avond van te voren geannuleerd door de aanbieder, omdat we de enige waren die deze tour hadden geboekt. Het leek onze een geweldige combinatie. Helaas konden we de avond van te voren met geen mogelijkheid meer tickets krijgen voor de Vesuvius en hebben we die niet meer kunnen beklimmen tijdens onze vakantie. We hebben ergens anders nog wel een wijnproeverij kunnen boeken, ook daar waren we de enige twee, maar die ging, zoals het hoort, wel gewoon door en was gelukkig ontzettend leuk! Maar hier kan je er niet vanuit gaan dat wanneer je iets boekt, dat het doorgaat.
