We loved our tour with Emilio! He was very friendly and knowledgeable, giving us the history of the Apulia region in great detail. He organised a wonderful Apulian lunch showcasing local products and the wine tour selected was excellent, again highlighting local grape and wine varieties! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We had a really good day. Our tour guide, Gary, was great fun , and was very knowledgeable about the area and the wines. We visited Alberobello first, followed by a tour of I Pastini winery where we tasted 5 of their wines. We then went to Locorotondo for a great lunch. The whole day was really enjoyable from start to finish. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: They were willing to pick us up at our cruise ship terminal for an extra fee which we were happy to pay. The Truli village was amazing, we loved the special shopping and tasting they gave us in the village. The old city we did a walking tour and lunch in was really great as well. The winery was beautiful and the wine tasting was very nice. Cons: The pick up was unorganized and they put 3 different groups together instead of our private tour of 8. The van we were in was old and very tight for 8 adults. We told the driver as well as our guide that we wanted to back to the ship by 2:15. Reminded them several times. They kept waiting for the other groups and we got back at the ship at 2:45 just before the ship closed its doors at 3:00. That was very stressful to everyone in our group and put a bit of a damper on the day.

Emilio was a great companion on our tour. He is funny and well travelled and gave us a wonderful insight into Ostuni, Alberobello and Locorotondo. His passion for his region is infectious and as a bonus, he is a Sommelier so can give expert insight on local food and wine too! The vineyard tour and tasting was excellent and we look forward to drinking the wine shipped to the UK! We also enjoyed the excellent lunch of local specialities and Emilio's company at lunch. Excellent tour.

We had a fantastic day in the Apulian countryside with Gary and Davide. Transport from, and back to, Ostuni was excellent and meant we could relax and enjoy the day (including plenty of wine tasting) without worry. This is a great way to see some of the key sights in Apulia and enjoy some local food and wine. Lunch in a local and authentic "salumeria" was a unique experience and not something we would have otherwise known about. Plenty of great stories and information (including restaurants and wine tips) added to a lovely afternoon. Would definitely recommend if you have some time in Ostuni.
