WOW! What an amazing, unforgettable experience! Well organized, good equipment and very friendly and good staff and guides! Up by cable, further with 4x4 mini bus and then starting the trekking. 1 hr 45 min up, which was very doable as we walked slow, 30 min break and 1 hr 30 min down. The view was breath taking. Thanks for this unforgettable day.

In June 2022 I visited Etna and I think it was the best trip and the most interesting experience in my life. I did it with I think the best guy - Franco ! I wanna thanku you for amazing atmosphere, funny jokes, and your patients for our group 😁 Franco, I hope we will meet again someday.. ☺️ I wanna also thanks for Santi ! Exactly one week has passed since the excursion to Mount Etna and I am still more than enthusiastic and I think this will continue for the next few years. Above all, I would like to thank Franco for this great experience! It really wouldn't have been half as good without him. If a tour then only with him! Super good mood, humorous and above all competent in what he does and explains. I can really only recommend a tour with him to you.

My wife and me took a bus from Catania, planning to take cable car and 4x4 jeep/bus with some light hiking, but we changed our mind during the ride to Etna and opted for ~5-hour hiking tour (booked it directly on the location) - and it was the best decision we made during visit to Sicily! With the group we took a cable car and then walked the rest until some 3000m and back down (couldn't go to the top since Etna is quite active these days). Our guide was Franco, he was great and quite knowledgeable, gladly answering all the questions. Absolute highlight of our trip to Sicily, highly recommended!

I am so glad I booked this tour, though it was at the location. Franco and Santi are excellent guides and you can feel they know the mountain and the limitations around it. I kind of expected to go to the top, but I now know why its not possible as the mountain is at the moment. The tour was very good planned and along the way Franco and Santi explained about the mountain and the nature/history around. They really made sure everybody had a good day. I recommend Etna Touring as your guide, for at professional experience. Thank you Franco for answering all my questions.

We had an excelled tour of Mt. Etna with Giuseppe. He was very knowledgable and he taught us a lot about Mt Etna. We had a very enjoyable hike. I would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was really great! The staff was so friendly. We had contact before the tour started to manage our arrival at the starting point and the contact was always helpful and friendly. We arrived from Catania. And as we had no car we had to take a bus which arrived at 10 (start was at 9.15), but that wasn't a big problem as we were privately guided up with the cable car and bus and then rejoined with the rest of the group. Such a nice and welcoming service. Thank you so much! The hike itself was easy but the winds up on the crater and the rain later was harsh! So please bring warm clothes (and if there's a chance of rain also rainproof trousers or a spare pair), the weather up there is nothing like the weather down in the city! But we were also provided with warmer jackets from the guide. Which is also a really really nice service. It was all in all a great experience and I would recommend it to everyone that is in Sicily!

This tour was just incredible. Our guide, Nicole, was very knowledgeable (to put it mildly- she guides part time and researches the volcano part time). Also she is a very kind, warm person who catered for all the different fitness levels in the group. One member was a bit scared of the descents (which the rest of us thought were fun!) and Nicole stuck with her and helped her down. She made sure we took frequent stops to help the less fit up the climb, but also took the two fittest a bit further on, leaving the rest of us temporarily in the care of another guide. We really thought she was amazing, and wished we had brought the cash with us to tip her generously (had read that you don’t tip in Italy. I wish we had anyway!) Sorry Nicole! The walk itself was spectacular. It takes you through a very different and impressive landscape, all the while with Etna rumbling away. I think we will always remember having a picnic on a volcano too! The experience was definitely made 100 times better though by having such an amazing guide.

We had a great time seeing Etna! Etna is really worth a visit. (Independent if you choose this tour, a different one or you walk up yourself) Some comments: The tour was organized very well. In total the tour costs around 95€. (Tour guide+Cable Car+Bus) If you really want to save some money and don’t go with a tour: Don’t skip the Cable Car!! It brings you far up the mountain. Don’t underestimate it! Currently you can not go to the central crater. Etna is already to active. You will receive an Email from the guide that going up to the central crater is not possible. They write this the day before the tour. Cancellation is just possible until 24h before the tour...therefore this makes sense for the guides to write this just the day before. Would be nice to know this earlier. The vulcanic activity goes on already for a longer time. So probably you stop before the central crater too. Conclusion: Visit the Etna! Book this or another tour. (This one costs in total a similar price than the others) If you want to visit Etna yourself: Use the cable car!! You will see why 😉You can skip the bus on top and just hike.
