Discover Florence with this walking tour, starting with the ancient Medici Family District, with the renowned Palazzo Medici Riccardi, the famous San Lorenzo Church and the Medici Chapels.
Continue a few steps away, admiring the Cathedral with the incredible Brunelleschi dome, the Baptistery of San Giovanni and the elegant Giotto bell tower. Move to Via Calzaiuoli where the imposing Orsanmichele Church, and the Mercato della Paglia are. During the tour your guide will tell you about the history of the city, and show several highlights like Ponte Vecchio, with its renowned jewellery shops, and Piazza Signoria.
Enjoy some free time during the lunch break, and gather the energies to continue on with Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, and its dome entirely frescoed by Vasari, the biggest fresco in the world. On Piazza del Duomo, next to the Cathedral, you also have the chance to visit the precious Museo della Misericordia and admire the amazing view on the Cathedral Square from the museum's 4th floor.
