We had a great guide to help us to discover this palace, including its history and the important role of the family the Medici. She helped us via her personal selection, and I got the feeling that we'll need to return several times to experience all that is exposed!

Our guide was very knowledgeable and provided an interesting commentary. However I was disappointed that a tour that was supposed to be for 2 hours was finished in an hour and 15 minutes. My other disappointment was that even though there were only 4 of us on the tour, at no time did our guide check if anyone was having trouble getting up the stairs or could not walk as fast as her. I was slower than the rest of the group and often by the time I got to the top of the stairs our guide had already started on her explanations. While everything was covered the whole tour felt very rushed.

Tour was very unorganized. We were to meet 15min prior, and no guide was present. At 5min past the start time we found our guide - no flag or sign. The tour then started 20min late. When we asked why the tour was late, the response was “what can I do”. We witnessed many other tour companies that were much more organized. We would not recommend ItalyTours.

Great history and fantastic art in the palace. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant. Only thing is she would run to the next thing; you need time to take pictures. Also, meeting point was changed and we were not updated so losing a star for the confusion and lack of time for pics.

I followed “Before you go” in your message sent me from 30 minutes before to 10 minutes after appointed time. But I could not find your agent. So I purchased the tickets for Vecchio Palace on the other day again. Check and pay back me.

We couldn't find the place, where we could collect our tickets. We phoned the number several times that was given, but nobody answered it. And it seams that we won't get a refund...

I wish I could give more than 1 star but I am shocked and absolutely so disappointed in the way we were treated and spoken to. The staff were incredibly rude, the first man we encountered started to yell at us because we were only 5 minutes early instead of 15 he threatened that if we weren’t in Italy he would retaliate. He then did not give us our tickets and out (very kind) tour guide tried to work with the museum to figure out how to get us tickets. At this museum ticket booth they were just a rude, the woman here was irritated that we booked a trip through viator and wanted nothing to do with us. They proceeded to say they would not give us tickets and that we must pay (the tickets to enter the museum and with the audio guide is 1/3 of the price and makes way more sense) I feel like we paid extra to be treated poorly. I would not pay for this trip, I would do this on your own.

Personal guide was very knowledgable about the Medici family and their early rise to fame. but she also shared information not commonly known like how Eleanor's children were kept inside for protection and never got Vitamin D from the sun causing growth problems and even death. her apartment in the house was decorated especially for her with her name in every room. but when she told her husband they should have a garden for the children he started to build a new palace. Not too busy in the afternoon so tour was perfectly timed. Definitely would recommend a tour with guide for this building

Ci sono stati alcuni problemi con la nostra prenotazione risolti in maniera impeccabile ripiegando sulla visita guidata del Maestro Vasari impersonato da un bravissimo ragazzo ( che indossava gli abiti tipici dell’epoca) del quale purtroppo non ricordiamo il nome, grade professionista preparato e coinvolgente . BRAVO!
