Claudia was excellent, both in terms of knowledge and how she handled our young son, always trying to involve him. She also adapted the tour to our needs after he fell asleep in the pram.

We arrived at the spot indicated on the booking paper but didn't see our guide with the name card. I didn't get any notification as to why our guide wasn't there. Called the tour company to get info. They had to send another tour guide at last minute. At this point it was almost an hour past the scheduled time. Claudia arrived and found us immediately. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, this was a good tour and worth it even though there was an initial glitch.

Great tour. We were lucky enough to get the same tour guide (Francesco) for the second time in our trip to Rome. It’s a must see for all visiting Rome. And if you are visiting as a family ask for Francesco.

After almost two weeks in Europe, both 10-year olds rated Donato and his tour as the best and the adults learned a lot and enjoyed the way he conveyed a sense of place and history. He paid attention to all members of our group on the private tour and quickly adjusted to meet our needs. A compelling storyteller who knows his history and has a passion for both the Colosseum and Forum. Getting in to Colosseum via skip the line earned us jealous looks, but we are so glad he had everything ready to go!
