Cooking has always been my passion. Born in Sicily, in Palermo, I bring with me the tradition of the Sicilian cuisine, which I like to mix and match with Tuscan recipes.
My motto is “We are what we eat”. This is why I only use seasonal and Km 0 raw materials, in order to cook dishes that give emotion to the palate, to the mind and to the soul.
Our guests will be guided into a wonderful journey through the Sicilian and Tuscan cuisine. I like cooking dishes that give emotion to the palate, to the mind and to the soul.
My family and I love to travel. This is why we decided to open our doors to people from all over the word! While enjoying a stunning view of the Tuscan hills, we will be happy to share with you the pleasure of the Italian table and our good food. We live in the countryside, only 20 km from the South of Florence – let us know and can help to arrange your transfer. Come to visit us!

Casa Prezzemolo is 18 km from Florence: 30 minutes by car or 20 minutes by train (pickup can be arranged) • Communal dining for 2 to 8 people • Alessia Prezzemolo and her daughter host together, and also offer cooking classes. Casa Prezzemolo: ottimo cibo in ottima compagnia! Una bella casa nella campagna toscana, ci ha accolto per questo pranzo in compagnia della padrona di casa Alessia; crostini e pici all'aglione meritano una menzione particolare, ma in realtà l'intero pranzo è stato ottimo. Una piacevole chiacchierata, un bicchierino di liquore per accompagnare il dolce...e un'esperienza che consiglio a tutti!
Ieri è stata la mia prima esperienza con Eatwith e devo dire che se sono tutte così lo rifarò di sicuro! Il pranzo a Casa Prezzemolo è stato favoloso sotto tutti i punti di vista, cibo, location e che dire dell'accoglienza di Alessia ....il posto è molto curato e gode di una meravigliosa vista sulla campagna toscana, immergersi in un paesaggio tanto bello è proprio quello che ci vuole per ricaricarsi... Il pranzo cucinato da Alessia era squisito, se penso ai pici all'aglione, ai crostini con il patè di fegatini o alle cipolle caramellate mi viene di nuovo l'acquolina in bocca, e poi Alessia è una padrona di casa simpatica e accogliente con la quale è molto piacevole conversare....e non è nemmeno gelosa delle sue ricette... infatti a fine pranzo mi ha dato la sua ricetta del tradizionale patè di fegatini, ma non so se riuscirò a farlo buono come il suo... Grazie mille Alessia!
Alessia and Maurizio exceded my expectations. Their home is so cozy that they Made as forget it was raining outside. Their location is just as an italian painting- the perfect Tuscany landscape image right on their terrace! Before we went to lunch we did some amazing shopping at the high end outlet the mall, just 10’ away from their place and then they welcomed us with a great glass of wine and the perfect food for both of us. I need to eat gluten free, and my menu was incredible . My husband had tasty pasta .. and I had the best soup of my life.. meat, vegetables, desert and a great chat about Italy. They are from Rome and Sicily, so we learned so much about their own culture. We advice you to live this experience , definitely, our highlight from our Tuscany adventure.
