I had a wonderful day tour from Pompeii to Amalfi coast. The driver and guide Mimmo is the best guide I ever met in my whole Europe trip. He is on time, polite and very helpful. He also talked about stories and history of Amalfi cost. I visited Ravello, Positano and Sorrento. It is amazing and all my family are happy with this trip. The price is very reasonable compared to other big companies. I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone wants to see the beauty of Amalfi cost.

Me-mo our driver was fantastic. He provided us with round trip transfers from the Naples train station to Sorrento and the full day private tour of the Amalfi coast. Me-mo pointed out al the interesting points and stopped for many photos along the way. We had time to walk around and do a little shopping in Positano and Amalfi and Ravello. Me-mo recommended a restaurant for lunch (Ristorante San Giovanni) near Ravello and the view and food were spectacular. On our way back to Sorrento Me-mo arranged for us to visit an olive pressing factory as we were there during the fall harvest, very interesting to see the process and time well spent. See the pics to truly appreciate it all. I would highly recommend this trip and ask for Me-mo, he made the trip very entertaining with all his stories and humour.

Domenico (Me-mo) was wonderful! He picked us up in Rome, drove us to a winery outside of Naples, took us to Pompeii and set us up with an awesome tour guide. We then went to Sorrento - so glad we had a driver and did not attempt to drive there ourselves. There are lots of buses, motorcycles zipping past, and narrow, twisty roads - not a fun drive if you're the driver! Memo was a safe, wonderful driver. His English is excellent, and he is very, very witty. He took care of us for three days - we did the Amalfi Coast tour, the lemon grove/mozzarella/pizza making tour, and he transferred us from Rome to Sorrento. It was so nice not to worry about driving those crazy roads, parking a car, and having inside information on where to go and when to get there before the cruise crowds arrived. It was well worth the extra money to be handled with such care and avoid the hot, crowded buses and trains through the area. As a family of five, we didn't spend much more and enjoyed everything much more than we would have if we had tried to do all of it on our own. 100% recommend!

We rented a car and thought we would drive the Amalfi Coast. After a little bit of research we changed our mind. In fact, we decided on not only a driver, but also a tour guide, so that we would get the most out of our day. Dudy and Martina arrived on time at our villa and began our trip to Ravello, Amalfi Town, and Positano. We could not have asked for a better experience! They were both delightful and fluent in English...giving us so much information and showing us all the best places for photos. Truly a lovely day we will never forget!

While on a cruise which included a one day port of call in Naples, my husband and I, and our adult daughter did this tour and we were very pleased with it. The full day tour included pick up at the port by a private driver/car, a drive along the Amalfi Coast with stops for shopping and meal in Positano and Sorrento, and finishing with a visit to Pompeii. Our private driver/guide Alfonso was awesome! He was personable and very informative describing points of interest and historical tidbits along the drive. He also went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable. For example, in Sorrento he reserved a window seat at a lovely family restaurant where we had a wonderful typical Italian meal with a view of the Mediterranean and the village below. Before starting the tour, when Alfonso explained he would not be guiding us at Pompeii, we asked for assistance in hiring a guide and he was able to get one for us last minute. And in Naples on the way back to the cruise ship, he fulfilled a special request for a stop at a local pizzaria for pizza. He parked the car and literally ran to the restaurant to get the pizza for us so that we could have a taste of world famous Neapolitano pizza before our ship sailed! Alfonso made sure to keep us on schedule as well. He managed to hit all the highlights and get us back to the ship on time. We highly recommend this tour and especially the driver/guide Alfonso.

We booked the private tour for 2 days. We were greeted at the airport in Naples, the van was very clean and nice. Our driver was kind and helpful. We went to pompei and then to our hotel in sorrento. The second day was our amalfi coast tour. However on the second day, our driver did not take us to places which were explained before. We forgot to remind him those places as well. Even though that it was a nice tour.

We had the pleasure and good fortune to have found Amalfi Coast Private Tour during our recent visit to the Amalfi Coast. Domenico was prompt in answering questions and explaining in detail what we could expect from using his services. I was pleasantly relieved after communicating with him for several months before our arrival, his driver was there just as described in our emails. We were paced up at the Naples airport and given a wonderful all day Amalfi coast tour in a clean, comfortable and new van for 6 people. Our driver was fantastic and gave us history along our drive and was very accommodating to all our needs. We were dropped off at our hotel in Sorrento and then picked up again 3 days later to go back to the airport to fly home. This is a number I will save for future trips, it's comforting to know that they will be there when you need them and the fees were more than fair for our transfers and tours. I would highly recommend hiring this company for a great trip and for peace of mind.

Dino our driver provided us with a world class private tour. His knowledge, driving skills, and love of the Amalfi Coast translated into a wonderful day beyond our expectations. Dino also made sure we had plenty of opportunities for taking pictures and recommended a wonderful restaurant in Ravello. We even booked Compass Tour Limos for the next day, for our visit to Pompeii and then Naples!! We highly recommend this company for your next visit to the Amalfi Coast or other areas in Italy.

We used Amalfi Coast Private Tours for our transportation from Naples to Amalfi, with a 2 Hour stop in Pompeii. Then for our return to the Naples airport our driver took us along the coast and took us to Sorrento for lunch and sightseeing. Both trips were excellent! We had Franco as our first driver and “Mimo” (not sure how he spelled his name) as our second driver. They were on time (actually early), friendly and so helpful. The cars were nice Mercedes vehicles, so comfortable! Our return trip was especially excellent with Mimo stopping at several points for us to see sights and take pictures. He also provided us with a lot of background about the places we drove through. It was the perfect way to end our trip. I highly recommend this company!

I am writing this review on the heels of another review for Gioia Private Tours in La Spezia/Pisa/Lucca. I don't usually like to play comparison games, but my goodness Mimmo was a breath of fresh air after our awful experience just two days prior. A few highlights of note: Mimmo is incredibly fast at responding and clear in his communications. He is professional via email, and responded to me quickly via WeChat upon arrival at the port to guide us to him. His car is clean and immaculate, and his driving is steady and even-keeled. Mimmo, though with a thick Italian accent, was very careful to speak slowly and articulate each word. He had a very pleasant, laid back tempo and gave us interesting tid bits on each region, town, local life as if he were describing his world to old friends. We greatly appreciated that after Gioia grilled us with questions that he knew we clearly wouldn't know and demanded we pay attention and listen to him from the back. Great planning of the day all around, with a start in Positano sneaking in right before the big tourist crowd hit in the morning. We then visited and took our lunch in Sorrento, and finally spent 2 hours in Pompeii upon our request. We underestimated the size of Pompeii and came back to the meeting point 20 minutes late and he was patient the whole time, though clearly eager to get back on the road. There were no harsh words or rudeness from him due to our lateness, but again, a complete change of pace from two days prior. I would highly recommend Mimmo if you want a laid back, well thought out experience on the Amalfi Coast. He is professional and has lasted in the business for many many years due to his wonderful personality.
