Rafaelle was great! He knows so much history about the city and was able to drive us everywhere to make sure we saw all the must do's in one day! He even gave us plenty of restaurant recommendations near where we were staying and arranged a ride to the airport for us. I highly recommend this tour

Rafaelle made our trip to Rome!! From the time we landed and he met us at the airport until he dropped us at the cruise ship two days later he drove us to interesting sights and provided us with much interesting historical information. We never would have been able to cover so much in two days time without him. It was a great experience and we highly recommend him

We had an amazing day with Raffaele in Rome! We came with a large group but ventured off the beaten path for a day to golf and visit the Latter-Day Saint temple! Raffaele was always prompt and so patient with us as we spent time at each stop. He thought about the details such as water, food, and time to travel. He was very knowledgeable and gave us so much great information about the Rome area as we traveled! I felt safe and secure with him! I would recommended him to anyone traveling in Rome for you and your spouse or your family! He was wonderful!

Raffaele was prompt, courteous, accommodating, full of information and a pleasure to spend the day with in Rome. We knew traveling from the cruise port to city center of Rome and spending the day seeing as much as possible would be best done with a private driver. And for not *that* much more than a cruise ship excursion, it was a no brainer to hire Raffaele for our day in Rome. He had ideas beyond what we knew we wanted to see, made tasty lunch recommendation and dropped us everywhere we wanted to go as close as possible because I'm pregnant and it was almost 100 degrees outside. I would highly recommend Raffaele for your private transportation needs in and around Rome!

We ended up hiring Raffaele to pick us up from the airport and decided we wanted to have him drive us for the day so we could see more things…what a great decision that turned out to be! He not only drove us..but he is a knowledgeable and articulate tour guide himself. He took us to things we wouldn’t have known to see on our own. Raffaele was professional, spoke great English, and was always willing to help us with anything we needed…he even helped us exchange our train tickets! We liked him so much we hired him for a second day! He made our Rome visit comfortable, exciting, and worry free and was reasonably priced. We highly recommend hiring Raffaele for your driving and touring needs!!!

I can't say enough about how impressed my husband and I were with Raffaele. He picked us up at the port in Civitavecchia and drove us around Rome for the day before dropping us off at our hotel. He is extremely knowledgeable.....more so than many of the official tour guides! Having only one day in Rome we wanted to see as much as possible and Raffaele definitely didn't disappoint. In fact we got to see so many things that would not have been on any of the regular tours. He is professional, very personable, prompt, great driver, and speaks very good English. He even helped us check into our hotel when all of the instructions were in Italian! It was also obvious when we arrived at the hotel that they did not have an airport shuttle as was advertised. So, Raffaele kindly picked us up the next day and drove us to the airport! Do not hesitate to book with him, you will not be disappointed! It is an amazing way to see Rome.

We stepped off our cruise ship and Raffaele was waiting for us, so easy! We had a very pleasant drive into Rome and Raffaele talked with us about the history of the area and pointed out landmarks along g the way. There was a bit of time before our timed ticket into Vatican Museums so he drove us to a fabulous overlook where we could see the city stretch out below. After our (separate guide) tour of Vatican Museums, Raffaele picked us up and we went to lunch and we drove through ancient parts of the city, stopped for delicious gelato, then returned to the ship in plenty of time for ‘all aboard’. Raffaele was great: very knowledgeable, flexible when our plans had to change, expert driver. Very highly recommended.

Highly Recommended!! Raffaele was a fantastic tour guide! We were picked up in the port on time in a newer Mercedes van. Right away you could tell Raffaele was a guy who enjoyed his work. He was energetic and friendly with a great knowledge of the history and incredible landmarks in Rome. Ahead of the tour Raffaele gave me a number of tips to set up the day's schedule at the Coliseum and the Vatican. During the tour we made several stops for photos and brief visits at the key landmarks High marks as well for the restaurant Raffaele found for near the Vatican - it was one of many highlights of our day! We'll definitely be back and won't hesitate to hire Raffaele when we return.
