Our Driver was very friendly and warm. The drive to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius was smooth and timely. We finished early and he drove us back to our hotel early as well.
The tour was excellent. Picked up on time in a small group. Great driver took us first to Pompei. The tour guide was excellent. Then the driver took us to a vineyard for a wine tasting/lunch which was great. Then on to Vesuvius. The driver was knowledge and excellent. In all, a great day.
Giuseppe was amazing, he coordinated everything extremely well to make sure we had a great experience. He was on time and his driving and communication skills are very good. The lunch recommendation was fenomenal.
Gennaro was a lovely person but this tour is terribly inaccurate as well as not well run. They change the pickup time, halfway through the day you combine with a massive group of around 75 people, and the guides are not as knowledgeable or enthusiastic as others you will find along your tour. Not worth the money or the headache of a massive group (when it was advertised as smaller). Currently riding back to our hotel in some random van we met on the side of the road at the base of Vesuvius... after sitting there for 15 minutes, Gennaro called the names of 10 guests and had them leave "to be faster".
Just a great day, everything ran on time and we arrived swiftly and safely at each location. Couldn’t fault the whole experience and couldn’t recommend more for people wanting to wander and do their own thing at the locations
We had an amazing trip to Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius. Giuseppe was our driver and he made our day perfect. We had great communication before the trip. He was flexible with our plans and made everything easy for us. He coordinated a private tour of Pompeii with the most fascinating tour guide Daniela. We learned so much from her and made the time fly. They suggested a wonderful little restaurant for lunch and then Giuseppe took us up to Mt Vesuvius to hike to the top. It was stress free for us because he had all our tickets and took care of us and was waiting when we returned. Highly recommend this tour and I would request Giuseppe and Daniela for the best experience!
