Spisone

(Pass by)

SPISONE BAY Large boulders that emerge here and there in the sea are the distinctive feature of Spisone beach, north of Taormina. Being close to the motorway exit, it is easily accessible. Spisone beach is located in the bay of Taormina, populated by many beaches but also by some stretches of free beach. The stone islets that emerge from the waters are very suggestive. The sand is pebbles and the seabed is varied.

Porto baia delle sirene

BAY OF MERMAIDS The Baia delle Sirene is one of the best seaside resorts in Taormina. Not very visible from the outside because it is sheltered by a small promontory, it is not very crowded. The bay is very similar to a natural harbor where local fishermen shelter. Inside it is characterized by a very shallow and therefore very visible seabed, it recreates the perfect habitat for many marine species in particular the posidonia a marine plant rich in important properties for the ecosystem of our sea. The stone islets that emerge from the emerald waters are very suggestive, an ideal place for snorkelling enthusiasts.

Admission Included

Mazzarò

BAY OF MAZZARO' In just 10 minutes from Taormina you can visit the Mazzarò beach, located in an enchanting inlet where nature dominates the landscape and the sea shines with turquoise and emerald reflections. It has always been the favorite of the people of Taormina, ever since Mazzarò was a tiny fishing village. Practically at the arrival of the cable car, Taormina's beaches are considered the most elegant, overlooked by some of the most luxurious hotels in the area. But even if you are not staying in one of these resorts, do not miss the opportunity to take a dip in the clear blue water of this marvelous bay framed by the wild green promontories of Capo Sant'Andrea and Capo Mazzarò, where caves open and marine ravines that you can explore with mask and fins. As in the nearby Isola Bella, here too the beach is made of gravel and pebbles and you will find both bathing establishments and free areas.

Isola Bella

BEAUTIFUL ISLAND The bay enclosed between Capo Taormina and Capo Sant'Andrea with a precious pearl set in the center, is not by chance called "The Pearl of the Mediterranean" Covered with Mediterranean scrub and exotic essences, the enchanting islet is a luxuriant botanical garden. Sheltered by the two promontories, the beach is made of gravel and pebbles. You can choose whether to settle comfortably in one of the beaches equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds or on the stretch of free beach. The best and most peaceful point is the small beach at the base of Isola Bella, where the waters take on amazing iridescent colors due to a play of light. For the rest, however, they are clear and incredibly transparent, shallow and scattered with rocks, therefore ideal for swimming and snorkelling among seaweed and reef fish

Admission Included

Villagonia

BAY OF VILLAGONIA One of the most comfortable beaches to reach from the city center. The beach of Villagonia is a real natural gulf, made up of rock and sand, located at the foot of Taormina, very close to the Taormina-Giardini railway station. It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily, due to its white sand and transparent sea, frequented by locals and tourists from all over the world.

We had a lot of fun touring around the waters of Taormina and its vicinity. The boat was big and comfortable, the skipper was very accommodative and we had plenty of time to swim around in between stops. Had a lot of fun and would recommend taking a private boat. Pros: - Private tour - Good music playlist on board - Skipper was very flexible and allowed us to swim in locations longer Cons: - Boat was 20 minutes late so it reduced our fun time - Snacks were very basic (expected some cheese at least and more fruits)

Andrea is a great sailor and guide! I was celebrating my birthday with family and friends and he welcomed us with a toast with Prosecco and good music. Just the perfect atmosphere to start the trip! He explained all the history of Isola Bella and Taormina. Very good knowledge of the region. My mom was afraid of the sea, and he was very gentle to go slow and explain that soon we would be in a calmer water. The food and wine provided in the tour was great. Just a wonderful day!!! I’ll definitely do it again when I’m back in Taormina!

Hermosa excursión, disfrutamos la lancha para nuestra familia sola, el Capi Mimo un experto ,nos explicó los lugares más irónicos, nos adentró en las cuevas, el clima no pudo estar mejor! Tomamos prosecco, cervezas y agua, y patatas fritas!
