Veramente un pomeriggio indimenticabile tra l' Arco di Giano e Portunnus, Tempio di Ercole e il grandioso Circo Massimo. Ho appreso notizie veramente interessanti che nei libri di storia non vengono menzionati, ma grazie alla guida Giuseppe e alla sua preparazione ho rivissuto e conosciuto i momenti e la vita della Roma antica. Oramai è il quarto tour che faccio con Rome Italy Explora nelle strade e vicoli di una Roma ancora tutta da scoprire. Questa è stata la volta dell’area del Foro Boario, la magnifica basilica di Santa Maria in Cosmedin, Bocca della Verità, Arco di Giano, basilica di San Giorgio al Velabro ed il Circo Massimo. E' stato molto interessante seguire le spiegazioni di Giuseppe, la nostra guida; che in modo semplice ed adeguato ci ha descritto la zona del Foro Boario con i sui templi, le sue chiese ed il meraviglioso Circo Massimo. Mi piace molto partecipare a queste passeggiate culturali perché sempre ben organizzate e sempre con una guida estremamente preparata che ogni volta ci fa immergere, con le sue spiegazioni, nel mondo della Roma antica. Abbiamo visitato la zona del Foro Boario iniziando dalla magnifica piazza dove si trova la basilica di Santa Maria in Cosmedin, per poi procedere verso il Circo Massimo fermandoci man mano nelle varie Basiliche e nei vari siti archeologici. Tour sempre ben organizzato sotto tutti i punti di vista.

Un pomeriggio ricco di storia!!! Un arricchimento unico e completo, ho appreso con stupore e meraviglia tante informazioni a me sconosciute. Devo ringraziare la guida Giuseppe per l’ottima preparazione e il suo modo di spiegare semplice ma incisivo. Sono contenta di aver appreso notizie sulla chiesa Santa Maria in Cosmedin dove si trova la Bocca della Verità e lo splendido mosaico, sull’immenso Circo Massimo, sulle chiese di San Giorgio al Velabro e Santa Anastasia, l’arco di Giano e i Templi di Ercole e Portunnus. Roma non finirà mai di stupirmi!! E per questo ringrazio L’organizzazione Rome Italy Explora che mi ha dato questa opportunità.
