I love dancing, and I'm studying belly dancing. I love chatting and travelling.
I love my children and my house, and I maniacally take care my sourdough, the heart of many of my dishes! I love the sea and winter Sundays spent on the couch with the remote in my hand and a good tea. I love the bike and the rider who takes me with him on the motocross rides.
I love life!

I cannot begin to tell you how much we fell in love with Patrizia. She is such a remarkable human, and her cooking is out of this world. Or should I say... OUR cooking. No, I'll say HER cooking. She taught us how to make pasta from scratch, and it was one of the most enjoyable experiences cooking that I can remember. We miss her so much, and will hopefully get to cook with her again some day. One of the absolute highlights of our European adventure!
We had a great time with Patrizia. She had 16 people to deal with and did an amazing job entertaining everyone of all ages ranging from 6 to 75. Would highly recommend this experience!
Patrizia was exactly what we were looking for in a host for a pasta making class. She was kind, warm, and not only an excellent chef but an excellent conversationist. Highly recommend!
Patrizia was an incredible host and cook. As Italian-Americans from New York, this evening was all we could have hoped for…a night of learning, cooking, and sharing stories that was reminiscent of times with our grandmothers. As soon as we entered her home she made us feel welcomed. We started off by learning to make pasta dough for ravioli and tagliatelli, including an overview of the ingredients and how they work together. We have been to other group cooking classes where the goal of the instructor was to merely get you through the lesson with a somewhat edible finished product. Patrizia went much deeper to give you the skills and knowledge to replicate these recipes on your own time and time again. It is clear how much she loves to cook, and she was happy to engage on any questions we had with regards to what we were cooking and other recipes of hers and Florentine specialties more broadly. Once we were done making the pasta, the other guest arrived and joined us at the table while Patrizia prepared dinner for the four of us. The menu featured multiple appetizers and treats that were not even mentioned on the listing when we booked. Everything was delicious, especially our raviolis in sage butter and the tagliatelle with fresh tomato sauce using fresh basil from Patrizia’s balcony and tomatoes from her father’s garden a couple blocks away. We were able to tell she truly wanted to spend time getting to know us as we shared beautiful conversations over the dinner table. She provided a bottle of wine and surprised us with cannolis for dessert that she filled just prior to serving (to preserve the crunch). Patrizia told us she has multiple guests she remains in touch with, and we will happily be joining that list! We walked away not only with full bellies and new cooking abilities, but with a new friend that we will certainly be reaching out to whenever we return to Florence.
The evening was very pleasant. Patrizia is very intelligent, warm, easy going and wonderful cook hostess. The food was super good :) it was one of the best experiences in a very long time! I’m so so thankful and grateful for this amazing honeymoon evening. Would put it as a must when visiting Florence. P.S. thank you for the best ‘mafia’ stories ;)
This was a fabulous experience and Patrizia is even more fabulous! We loved learning how to make raviolis and tagliatelle, and of course we enjoyed eating the delicious creations as well! After preparing, and while Patrizia cooked, she served several amazingly delicious homemade appertivo to us. It was unexpected and so tasty! My daughter and I joined a lovely couple on their delayed honeymoon. The 5 of us had so many laughs throughout the evening and Patrizia treated us like family. Grazie mille Patrizia!!
