We had an amazing tour of Palermo with Mauro! He was very knowledgable about the city's history, culture, and art, and he was very passionate about the city as a local, which we loved. We were completely entertained by his stories for the entire 3 hour tour, and we also appreciated that he was always willing to answer our questions.
Highlights of the tour included the visit to the monastery of St. Catherine, hearing about the history of the mafia in Palermo, and walking through the Capo market.
Mauro was also really helpful in giving us recommendations for restaurants and sites for the rest of our trip. It was the best!

Palermo is a city rich in history, art, and culture. A great way to fully experience and appreciate all that Palermo has to offer is to take a guided walking tour. Although the walk is several hours, the time goes by very quickly and the time is punctuated by rest and rich conversation. We were so fortunate to have Mauro as our personal guide. Our tour day was rainy, but Mauro organized it expertly and made sure that we we able to see all the important sites. Mauro also is a wealth of information and has an expert way of making the cultural, architectural, and artistic sites come to life, providing a living history of Palermo and its people. Despite the rain, our family have a wonderful experience that was culturally enriching, but also lighthearted and fun as we conversed with Mauro and enjoyed biscotti buonissimi at Santa Caterina Monastery. Mille grazie, Mauro!

The best guide we have ever had in fifty years of traveling abroad! Mauro is a force! Highly educated in the rich history of Sicily, he is an expert communicator and teacher. Mauro loves his country deeply and is passionate about relaying its fascinating stories to his clients. His enthusiasm, quick wit, warmth and charm are just unparalleled. Mauro put together a very thoughtful agenda, showing us different facets of Sicily that we could not have put together on our own. Our whole visit an exponentially richer experience due to his efforts. We could not recommend him more highly.

Funny and friendly, Mauro showed us the hidden gems of Palermo, and the local character.
We did a family tour with 11 and 14 year old children, and Mauro made sure to appeal to their interests also.
The tour was perfectly paced, hitting the main sights; the many magnificent historical buildings, and the best gelato shops.
Mauro enriched the tour with his personal stories, and the local culture.
One of the best tour guides we've experienced. Highly recommended?

My tour guide was Alberto, he gave me an amazing in depth guide about the history of Palermo. I saw all of the major sights, including the Quattro Canti and the churches. I really loved learning how to identify baroque and the meaning of seashells. Albert also has a vast knowledge of language and the evolution of words, it was cool to learn about some Sicilian words. Overall an amazing tour, I highly recommend it!
