Panettone - the symbol of Milanese bakery tradition. Known throughout Italy and the world, the classic Milanese panettone has raisins and candied fruit. In our tour, we will try the panettone of a historic family bakery, which produces a high-quality artisan panettone since 1967.
Marron glacé - a very ancient dessert, simple, but with a great taste. The marron glacé is a carefully selected chestnut that is immersed for several days initially in water, then in a sugar syrup and, finally, glazed, to acquire an inimitable flavour.
Pasticceria pastries - well known and appreciated throughout Italy. It is the custom to bring them to the family Sunday lunch. Of various shapes, sizes and colours, pastry chefs have invented all types and it is precisely from mignon pastry that you can understand the talent and the art spirit of a great chef.

Only in our discovery tour of Milanese pastries and bakery scene, you can try these two realities which are actually bonded by the love for high-quality desserts. With our Milan Patisserie tour we will take our time to make you live and learn about Milan patisserie thanks to an experience between flavours and emotions. Marta, Francesca, Piera, Eleonora, Rebecca, Daria and Stephanie, your local experts, are passionate about their city and they want to share their love for Milan with you! Giulia was our lovely guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Made the tour relaxing, but very informative.
Our guide was Antonio and he was very nice. He also threw in but of knowledge of the area we were in. The tour was a bit less structured than I had thought it would be. Basically the guide takes you to a few bakeries (new and old)- and let’s you pick out whatever you want. I wish there was a bit more history of each food and two of the foods (panettone & pralines) that were listed I did not see in any of the bakeries as an option to try.
We had booked a tour with Daniele, but our guide was Ana. She was a lovely person but appeared to be shy. She did not keep up a lively conversation about Florence, the food, or anything. It was not at all like previous food tours we have taken. The restaurants we visited were intimate and family owned. That was the best part of the tour.
The tour is perfect to start a trip in Torino. Caroline was not only a guide, she gives us the feeling of being very welcomed guest. She gave good recommendations for restaurants and bars and she was an entertaining and charming hostess.
Alessia was a wonderful guide, who explained a lot about food and local culture. Highly recommended specially when you planned a short visit in Bari. Food tours are the best way to learn about local culture and this tour was an excellent choice!!!
