Amazing tour, excellent guide, Francesca is very knowledgeable and is able to answer any questions you may ask her. It's worth every cent and I recommend it to anyone that wants to get to know Napoli well.

Our guide was a true historian. He was so knowledgeable about the cities historical background. It was a very eye opening tour with a lot of history of the region. The only negative would be he spoke fast with an accent a little hard to understand some times

Virtual Raffaele is clearly almost as engaging as the reviews in person. We would definitely book him for a future trip to Napoli! He is experienced, amusing and offers information beyond what is generally available on line. We actually loved the format where he used videos and pananoramic photographs to orient us to the charms of Naples. Really liked that he started us at the city center as though we were on a walking tour. And his photograph of the margherita pizza at the end of his 1 1/2 hour presentation compelled us to order one from our local upscale pizzaria.

Raffaele is a wonderful guide! In addition to the Naples tour, I also went to Herculaneum with him and a few others from our first tour. He is very personable, great at answering questions you may have, and the pace is excellent for both novices and experts. The pricing is also unbeatable. I went to both the underground tour and a ragú restaurant he recommended in Naples, both were wonderful. Raffaele also makes himself available for further questions after the tour via various methods of communication. I definitely recommend taking a tour if you’re in the area!

Raffaele showed us around Naples on the Saturday and we saw and learned an incredible amount about the culture, architecture and food of Naples. Raffaele was amazing and even went out of his way to ensure we got tickets for the football that evening. We met him again on the Sunday and his knowledge of Pompeii was hugely informative( I am a history teacher and have been many times) and I learned many things about this historic site I did not know. I can not recommend him enough- even though his girlfriend wouldn’t let him come to the football with us!

We had a last minute change of plans and emailed Rafaela at Naples Grand Tour. She set us up with a fantastic lady,Roberta, who met us outside Garibaldi station. We had a delightful tour of Naples old city center, saw churches and historical buildings that we would have missed on our own! Her enthusiasm and a grasp of history, recalling names and dates was truly amazing. She treated us to the best cafe in Naples and took us to the special street,Via San Gregorio Armeno, where artisan shops have been carving and creating crêches for over 800 years. I have always wanted to see this and Roberta got me there! We have had many tours and this lady was one of the BEST!!! Grazie Mille!

We really enjoyed our tour of Naples with our guide Teresa. She is very knowledgeable and seemed to greatly enjoy passing this on to us. While it would be impossible to remember everything she told us there is no doubt we now know so much more about the history, culture and architecture of Naples. She was also keen to make recommendations of what we should see and do during the rest of our stay as well as where to get the best sfogliatelle, coffee and pizza and not just the most famous locations. I would recommend this tour with Teresa as a guide.

The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, but there was no structure to the tour and the amount of walking was impractical for the weather . It was also annoying that entry was not included to any major attraction and we had to find small change even to see the metro station !

À 5 star review for Rafaele , the best guide you will ever come across . He is not only knowledgeable, but also passionate and enthusiastic about his job , he never runs out of stories to share about his fascinating city which he is proud of , and quite rightly so! Rafaele also has great people’s skills and a gentle nature . Don’t look any further , he is the best guide you will ever find and you will learn so much about Naples and the region . His tour is a MUST !

Our family group ranged from 19/20 years (our children) to 75 (mom) of age. I asked Raffaele to design a tour that blended my wife’s and mine interest in history to my mother’s fondness for shopping. Thus we spent an excellent morning in the Museo Arqueológico de Napoli. Raffaele is the perfect guide for this world-class institution. His erudition and communication skills are impressive. Then we walked through the beautiful Bay of Napoli to a great Neapolitan restaurant. Afterwards we enjoyed the best coffee at historical Caffe Gambrinus. In the afternoon we visited the elegant Galleria Umberto I for some window shopping. At my wife’s request Raffaele took us to the Duomo (Cattedrale di San Gennaro). The most spiritually moving church we have visited in Europe. To cap the tour we visited a cameo workshop and then were shown through the charming shopping district, to my mom’s delight. In sum, it was our consensus that we could had not made a better choice. We look forward to meeting Raffaele on our visit to Sorrento and Amalfi. Post data: Don’t believe the stories you read about criminality and disorder in Naples. If you get to experience the real Naples you will find it is a vibrant, charming and elegant city. We have been many times to Italy, and on our next visit we will have our base in Napoli instead of Roma. I brought back the conviction that in a few years Napoli will be the next cultural and touristic gem of Italy. Ciao! Mariano Vidal
