First let me say that Portofino and the communities nearby are gorgeous. What a wonderful place to visit. Kudos to our staff that drove or bus to Portofino, the narrow and winding road askingo the way we're challenging but well handled, or guide have us gif background and knowledge of the area we were exploring. The 3 hour layover to explore Portofino on your own is perfect. Plenty to see, photograph and eat. And plenty of shopping if that's your thing. All in all a great day trip. Highly recommend for the price.

Not worth the money, book a train (less than 30 euro round trip) and go yourself. You will get the same views of the villages and sea as you would with this. The “Tour Guide” just read from a sheet a few facts along the way but otherwise did not engage with anyone. This was just a glorified shuttle. If you are looking for an actual tour, this is not it.

It was a great way to see Portofino by small coach. It is also an inexpensive way to travel and see the coast.

This was supposed to be a tour that we planned since February when we got on the van to go to the designated areas, the tour guide if you really call her a tour guide all she did was sit in the car with the driver not really giving us any information may be just as we will pass a fishing village. All we were going to be going to be doing was driving to Portofino. For a 3 hour stay We were going to drive by everything else so basically what I did was give her money to drive us and 12 other people ( who I didn’t know ) to Portofino that’s not what I call a day trip as described in the Tripadvisor’s information. I am a very unhappy customer.

Was not as expected. They were so much confusion. My children ended up on a different bus. And I couldn't take my bus either. I had to pay for a taxi to the destination. My children had to take a taxi as well. We were promised the return trip to the port. They did that only for half of the group. Again, the rest of my family had to find their way to the port through taxi and train. That was the worst I've ever experienced on an excursion. Very disappointing.

If I could give zero stars I would. We arrived to the pink up point on time but there was no clear communication which bus to board l. We were ushered onto the wrong by the matron and operator after showing our tickets. We were told we had to find our way to drop off point and catch a ride back on the correct bus. When we tried to board that bus we were left behind because there weren't enough seats for our group and,"the boss wasn't notified" which is false as I stood witness to a call placed to the boss about the situation.

Great ambiance..when going to town bear to the left and go all the way to the end. Little wine shop on the water. 15 for a nice glass of wine and bread and cheese. Worth the money.

This excursion included a drive on an open-air bus from the port of Genova to Portofino. Portofino is very nice but also be aware, it is VERY expensive. The restaurants are difficult to get a spot at lunch time so plan accordingly. We did enjoy our lunch but the restaurant charged us €20 JUST TO SIT. SO, it might be a good idea to check that if you go. One thing I will say about the tour company is that we came off a ship and had NO IDEA where to go and who to look for. When I emailed the company several days prior, they told us to meet in front of the museum. After waiting for 10 min past the meeting time, I had to make several phone calls to the company to find out where to go. They told us the wrong location!!! Apparently it was a City Sightseeing red open air bus. I don’t know why the instructions couldn’t just say that. It would have been much less stressful for us. Especially since we are from the US and had no idea what to expect. The return trip was good and we had no issues.
