Isola di Spargi

Spargi is the third largest island of the archipelago of La Maddalena, has an almost circular shape, an area of just over 4 km² and 11 km of coastline with spectacular beaches that open in the south and east. The north-western part is characterized by rugged cliffs. The highest point called Guardia Preposti reaches the altitude of 153 meters. Spargi is of granite origin and is mountainous with a vast plateau in the center. It embodies the beauty of landscapes and the richness of biodiversity. Spargi is a paradise for some rare species of birds such as the Corsican cormorant and seagull, which nest in the high cliffs of the island of Spargiotto located opposite the west coast. All other species are protected, except for the royal seagull.

Porto della Madonna

This body of water of rare beauty has shallow waters and crystal clear water with multiple shades ranging from almost transparent blue to emerald green with some variants of dark blue. The dark blue is given by the oceanic posidonia, a plant that oxygenates the sea and offers shelter to thousands of marine microorganisms, very important for the ecosystem of the Mediterranean. The Porto della Madonna overlooks the Spiaggia del Cavaliere di Budelli. In the center we find Isola Carpa. Opposite Carpa Island to the east is the narrow Passo del Topo with numerous granite rocks emerging from the water that look like small sculptures.

During the navigation we will see one of the most fascinating natural monuments of all Sardinia, the famous Bear Rock (natural moment since 1993). According to the scholar of the Greek civilization Victor Berard, the promontory of Capo d'Orso would be the only place in the Mediterranean identifiable with the "Land of Lestrigoni" the cannibal giants, protagonists of the tenth book of the Odyssey. Presumably Odysseus landed at Cape Bear in search of food, but the giant cannibals inflicted heavy losses on him and forced him to flee.

What an amazing experience!! Very kind captains. They took such good care of us. Very beautiful boat tour through the islands. Possibility to swim. Food like lunch and snacks were really good. They cooked lunch for us on the boat. It was relaxed and yet very exciting! Definitly coming back for my birthday this summer for another tour!!

We had an amazing experience. The yacht was perfect for a day trip. It was open spacious and one could move easily around. The staff was very humble, hospitable and always ready to serve. We were served drinks all day long, we had so many sweets that our sugar level must have gone up, pasta with tuna in shell bowls was cherry on top in the sea , fresh fruits from the city made a good dessert. The skipper and the rest of the crew explained all the history around the islands and let us ride the yacht for a while. I would highly recommend this crew for a a day trip

It’s hard to review this tour. The arcipelago is very beautiful and the staff is super friendly but there are a few things that they’ve to improve if they want to make it THE tour to choose. The Initial price is good, even cheap compared to other agencies, but once you get in the boat everything is about spending money in extra tours, alcohol or food and some of the staff are a little bit pushy about it. The highlights of the tour are the 2 minitours that you can choose to take paying an extra fee. The motorboat minitour in shallow waters is absolutely beautiful and you can spend a good amount of time over there. We didint take the other tour to la Caprera and spent one our in La Madalena town which in my opinion is not worth the visit, extremely hot and not much to see. Also you just get one hour over there and that’s not enough time to walk around and have lunch (the boat stops there at lunch time). Once you are back in the boat the tour is over and you return to your starting point without having the chance of getting in the water again even though after the walk around la Madalena it should be a must. In other words it would be better if they’d charge a little bit more and take the tour to the nice places for everyone. Very helpful staff, beautiful place, but the tour itself can be a lot better .

Perfect day out. The boat was stunning. A real working sailboat. The staff were fantastic. Plenty of drink and lunch was cooked whilst in a picturesque little cove. I will be doing this again!

Highly recommended experience, very friendly. We had a great time, we visited several islands and they explained everything to us. I would recommend it 100% if you come to visit Sardinia. Also very good appetizers. An unforgettable experience!!! ✨❤️ The fact that it was a little cold was not an impediment to having a great time, without a doubt we will repeat in summer to be able to swim and enjoy all the islands visited and the beautiful blue sea. It's worth 10/10!

Turen ble kansellert pga regn, på en dag det hverken var meldt regn og det var strålende sol. Vi fikk tilbud om en annen dag, men da dette var lagt til slutten av ferien ( på grunn av værutsikter) fikk vi ikke anledning. Dårlig kommunikasjon med operatør.
