A wonderful time with fabulous hosts. A real hidden gem just outside of Rome city. Easy train relief from termini and met at the other end as described. A lovely town, we walked the gardens also

We booked our experience last minute and we couldn’t have been more delighted. The communication and instructions for meeting our hosts was excellent. This is a family run business with a local Frascati family. One of the cousins, Nico, met us at the station and took us on a brief walk through the town before taking us to the venue. His knowledge both of the history of the area and winemaking was really impressive. The venue is really nice and beautifully converted, whitewashed light and airy . The wine tasting was excellent and included some meats and cheese. We had a fun lesson making pasta which Nico made look very easy. He was a great teacher and really helpful. We enjoyed eating the pasta we had made with a choice of 3 typical sauces which Nico made in the kitchen area whilst we watched. He even gave us a tour of the cellars which used to be used for fermenting wine. Like the town, they have an interesting history all of their own! If you are thinking of coming to the area, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour. We felt very welcomed and not at all processed as is the case with some tourist activities.

I will definitely make the pasta at home. It c was simple and delicious. Our host Nico is extremely friendly. I highly recommend this activity.

Interesting and easygoing experience! In addition of learning how to make pasta, you also hear interesting facts about the beautiful Frascati. Special thanks for flexibility; we lost the train from Rome to Frascati and the organizer gave in a minute several solutions how we could join the course now or later or if it would have been impossible, they even offered a voucher to give it someone else. This I would call Service.

There are some steps and inclines to overcome before you get to the pasta making venue, but the experience is well worth the effort for those that are capable. Warm family experience and ambience. The sampling of the wines is only the beginning as the family have history in the building and along with the pasta experience, a number of ways to ensure you remember how you made such a wonderful Italian pasta dish. Everything provided, all neatly tidied afterwards. Extra wine available for a very acceptable price throughout the pasta making experience. Delicious and truly amazing to eat your own creation on completion. The sauces are made in front of your eyes and cooked along with the pasta you made, in a matter of minutes. Once again, highly recommend this trip for anyone looking for something slightly different. The train journey from Rome to Frascati. It’s worth getting the tickets at Rome TrainTermini and validating at the stations. Just my opinion. Our group as I’m assured all groups are, were extremely friendly, even more so after the wine sampling!! There are some fantastic views in Frascati as well so don’t forget to take as many photographs as you can. Wonderful memory and a great experience.

This experience was amazing, worth the trip! Short train ride from Rome, they receive you in Frascati and the tour begins. The food and wine were amazing and Rosie gave a great tour/experience/wine tasting and pasta experience! 10 out of 10!

This was the best experience that we had in Italy. We were only in Rome for three days and we found this incredible deal online for wine tasting and pasta, making which were two things we really wanted to do while we were there. This experience gave us the best of both worlds, and the wine was actually incredible, we are very grateful that they can ship out to the states. The pasta was so delicious and it was so fun to make. The entire experience was welcoming and fun, we loved our tour guide, and the tour that she gave really helped us understand the history of not only her family, but of Frascati. We will be recommending this to our friends and family, and when we come back to Italy, we will definitely be visiting for Frascati again!

This class was one of our favorite things we did while in Italy, and the pasta was fantastic. Simone was a wonderful instructor - so warm and funny. The class is small, which makes it feel like a very special evening. The wine was very good, and we ended up getting a bottle to share during dinner. This is a nice opportunity to get out of Rome for a bit and see a beautiful town. I would recommend even coming early to walk around Frascati on your own before the tour begins. Tip: There are a lot of stairs to get to the winery, so if you’re mobility challenged, keep that in mind. That said, Simone was really accommodating of our group and took her time to make sure we didn’t feel rushed.

This experience was fantastic! The cousins have created a wonderful authentic Italian experience. Two of the cousins will meet you at the train station and walk with you back to the 'From Scratch' kitchen. Along the way you will get a history lesson on Frascati. Once at the kitchen you each have a station surrounding a large table. After tasting two of their wines, along with a little snack, you are guided step by step in the pasta making process. At the end you enjoy your homemade pasta along with a sauce of your choosing. We would highly recommend this activity. Frascati is a beautiful authentic little Italian town. It is a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Thank you for a wonderful day!
