An excellent way to see and taste contemporary Rome. Our guide, Paola, was attentive and charming. She accommodated food issues efficiently and graciously.

One of the best tours of our trip! First off I have to say how happy I am the tour company did not cancel our tour. We paid for a group tour but because we were in the off season we were the only couple on the tour. Because of that we got one on one experience with our guide. She was very knowledgeable and experienced. She made the tour not just educational but also fun with humor and conversation. She had obviously done this a few times and the places we went were her friends:-) gave us lots of education on Rome and different influences of food and history. Really made the tour an experience to remember. She even stayed late to really have a deep conversation and answer all our questions not even retaining to the food tour part. Would recommend this tour to everyone wanting a real Roman food experience.

The choices of food were delicious- from the salami and cheese appetizers, the two choices of pasta, the suppli rice balls, and the best gelato! And Anya was fun and personable and knew the Italian way! Loved it.

We had an amazing experience! Our bellies and heart are full. Clelia our tour guide was incredible and explained where we were, where we were going, about the family owned stores and restaurants we stopped at and all the food. She was super happy and engaging. She answered all my questions about Rome food and what she liked to eat and what her favorite meals her family cooked. She was just lovely. The guests on our tour were also wonderful and we made new friends. It was a awesome evening!

This was a very good tour on which we got plenty of food and drink. Our guide, Paula, was very knowlegeable about food, and we got to taste quite a variety. The other thing I really enjoyed about the tour was the walk itself. Paula took us through some areas with many restaurants and shops, and we returned to those areas twice during our stay. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that the two types of pasta we had at the sit down restaurant were undercooked. I understand that Italians like their pasta al dente, but this was undercooked and I have had better cacio pepe. With that said, I should mention that the tour only stops at this restaurant on Mondays when their usual stop is closed. Also, this resaurant was very crowded, so it appears to be very popular.
