The guide was fantastic. He knew his stuff and overall was great. We only had a couple hours at pompeii, which in the off season wasn't quite enough. In the high season it wouldn't even be close to enough time to really see things. I wish we'd had more time for lunch. We had 2 hours. Could have spent all afternoon there. The mini bus... it's a tight space. Manageable.. as long as the person in front of you doesn't recline their seat. But overall, really enjoyed the tour. It was easily worth the money spent.

The overall tour was better than I could’ve expected. Mauro, our main guide, had an extreme wealth of knowledge for anywhere we went and drove through. He also gave incredible suggestions for Sorento and even in Rome. Our guide at Pompeii was also incredible. Could not have asked for a better day

We really enjoyed our tour with our tour guide Francesca. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining and we much appreciated the experience. She was passionate about the content of the tour and very considerate towards the participants.

Great tour, the tour guide Federico was amazing made the bus trip to and from less boring. And was very informative of what to see and do at the stops. They guide at Pompeii Francessco was also a greta guide too. It is a long day but was still worth it, if thats the only time you have. I may not do it with teenagers, they enjoyed the sights but the bus trip not so much.

Outstanding trip! Flavia of Walks Tours was delightful, very knowledgeable and organized. We felt in great hand throughout. Pompeii and local archaeology guide Ilaria top notch - brought the site to life for us. Amalfi coast limited due to time of year (January) and shops and restaurants being closed for season - but pivot to Sorrento was lovely with wonderful views, great restaurants and some time to check out local streets and charming shops. A marvellous day in a very comfortable 18 passenger van, safe driving (thanks to Paolo!). Highly recommend!!

The guide Federico D. was extraordinary, very passionate about the history of the places and points of interest, very patient, and with an excellent attitude. Always kind in his behavior with the group and seeking to clarify any questions or comments. Overall excellent tour.

Hilaria (main tour guide) and Francesca (Pompeii archeologist) were exceptional in every way. Hilaria was incredibly knowledgeable and pointed out many points of interest along the drive to and from, while Francesca’s passion for Pompeii truly shined through on her tour. An unforgettable experience if you have limited time in Italy and want to see as much as possible (two UNESCO world heritage sites in a single day).

As others have mentioned, this tour is a very long day with most of your time spent on the very crampt bus. Pompeii was a must see for us, but sadly we saw about a 10th of the site in the short time we were there (about 2 hours). Guide was excellent and knowledgeable, but I wish we could have had more time to explore on our own. We visited in the winter and were aware we wouldn't see Amalfi or Positano - we went to Sorrento instead. It was the Befana day so maybe that's why it was sleepy and quiet. We did enjoy a delicious pizza while in Naples! Some feedback for the company is to amend their requirement to bring ID with you on the tour. We were concerned about bringing our passports and weren't sure if a photograph would suffice. The tour operators did not ask to see anyone's ID on the day. Looking back now, for the price of the tour and the short time we spent in Pompeii, I wish I had considered accommodation in Naples and spent a day exploring the site on my own. Would have avoided a crampt and stuffy 4 hour round trip from Rome.

The ruins of Pompeii were interesting. The guide was good and knowledgeable. The Amalfi coast and Sorrento were interesting.
