Pompei, Vesuvio e tour enologico

My husband and I had a fantastic day on this experience. Our touring driver, Alberto, shared a lot of information about the area, and was happy to answer all of our questions. He made the day extra special, by stopping at several additional look out spots, so that we could take in the view and take photos. The tour in Pompei was very interesting, and our guide, Rafaela, did a fantastic job of navigating the crowds, and sharing really interesting information about the area. It was so nice to have a private guide, as she was able to answer all of our questions. We would highly recommend Rafaela, as she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We visited the winery next, and had an interesting tour and delicious lunch. The scenery was gorgeous and it was a beautiful setting. After lunch, we visited Mt. Vesuvius, which was quite busy, but again very interesting. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes with good traction, as that will make the uphill climb much easier. We grabbed an espresso on the way up, and had lots of water, as it was quite hot in the sun. We had a truly fantastic day, and are so grateful to Alberto and Rafaela for this amazing and personalized experience. We highly recommend this experience. Thank you Alberto and Rafaela!

We had the most amazing day. Pippo was an excellent driver and guide. He picked us up from our hotel in Naples. We started the tour walking up to Vesuvius in the morning before the heat. Then on to wine tasting and lunch . Met our guide for Pompei which was amazing! They dropped us at our place in cetara. The perfect start to our week.

From the minute he got out of the car to greet us we were smiling and laughing. His personality and his laugh was infectious. We became like family to Pippo within minutes of meeting him. He took us to Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii as well as an amazing winery for a Wine Pairing / Tasting & lunch. Our guide in Pompeii was amazing as well. (I think her name was Federica!). This was an incredible day packed with non stop action. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO ALL WHO LIKE TO ENJOY LIFE!!! What a perfect day!!!! You know it’s a good day when you give your driver a hug when he drops you off!!

Eurolimo is an excellent company with reliable services. It’s owner, Nello, was very attentive and we established great communication before and during our travel to Italy. His services were punctual, professional and cars well maintained. I do have to mention our driver and tour guide Pippo. Pippo was amazing!! He was very attentive, professional, friendly, caring to our family’s needs and provided us with great information and recommendations. We were lucky to have Pippo for a few tours and missed his charisma afterwards. I highly recommend Eurolimo. Great sequence; early morning Vesuvius, winery and lunch and the Pompie. The private (just your family) tour, although a little expensive is really the way to do this. Pippo (Joseph), our driver was just fantastic. Extremely personable, cared for us throughout the trip and helped any way he could. We lucked out with fantastic weather. In July, it was chilly was Mt. Vesuvius.

I have so many positive things to say about our experience. Our driver Rino, collected us at 8 am and instantly made us feel welcome and spoke us through the plan for the day. Pompeii is a must see and so to is Vesuvius. However, I must say that the wine and lunch is the highlight of the day. We sat on a breezy rooftop looking at Vesuvius and ate - the meal was fantastic and so to was the wine! If you’re doing this, I’d suggest requesting Rino as your driver. Nothing was ever a problem for him to do, he literally couldn’t do enough for us. He was a great laugh, smooth driver and was full of local knowledge and information. Our experience would not have been the same had it not been for Rino - grazie mille!
