This massive piazza was laid out in 1538 to provide a grandiose entrance to what was then Rome's main northern gateway. It has since been remodelled several times, most recently by Giuseppe Valadier in 1823. In the centre, the 36m-high obelisk was brought by Augustus from ancient Egypt; it originally stood in the Circo Massimo.

Come sempre l'esperienza è stato più che positiva, l'agenzia ha dimostrato attraverso il suo staff, eccezionale disponibilità ed organizzazione offrendo un servizio eccellente. Il tour è stato molto interessante e coinvolgente. Gli intrighi della corte papale superano ogni aspettativa, l'esperienza per le vie e le piazze della città eterna lascia a bocca aperta. Una particolare menzione, considerato il periodo di pandemia, va riservata all'organizzazione che ha consentito tramite l'utilizzo degli auricolari di godere appieno la visita guidata nel rispetto della normativa vigente causa covid.

Passeggiare tra le vie e i vicoli di Roma è stato stupendo ed interessante una Roma che pochi conoscono , storie di Papi , di piazze come Piazza dell’Oro con la chiesa di San Giovanni Battista, via Giulia, Piazza Farnese, Campo dei Fiori e infine piazza Navona Grazie alla nostra guida Francesca preparata che ci ha fatto rivivere quei tempi a molti sconosciuti Infine un ringraziamento a tutto lo staff in particolare a Rossana e Luigi per aver organizzato in modo impeccabile questo tour indimenticabile
