Exploring Sforza Castle virtually was like time traveling to Renaissance Milan. Built in the 15th century, the castle was the main residence in the city of its Visconti lords, that’s why it’s so important, the castle was not just a fortress but it’s also had a lot of diverse art and culture in every corner. I didn’t really know much about this place but by the end of the tour I loved many things about this place. The virtual tour showcased amazing art, like paintings and sculptures. It felt like walking through history, imagining the gatherings and debates that once filled its halls. In conclusion, the virtual tour of the Sforza Castle was an amazing experience and journey into the past, offering a look into Renaissance Italy's spirit and artistic legacy.

The app Pop Guide they gave me a QR code to scan on arrival needed a User Name and a Password or a QR scan to open it. The VOX rep at the entry didn’t provide this not explain it was needed. Nor did she check to see that the audio tour was loaded and ready to go. This is very poor service. Unsure if this is VOX policy or her. They had a separate PDF with another app called Vox City that was attached to the confirmation in Viator. It’s didn’t contain the audio tour rather more yours they offered. It had a user name and password but didn’t work on the audio tour app. Basically a waste of money given it’s €5 to enter the museum at the door. I’d like an explanation of what went wrong from the provider VOX tours and also my money back.

The museums and castle were great! Our representative met us timely. But then she said- “Did you download the app?” Hadn’t realized I had to, so she let me scan the QR. Took over 1/2 an hour, and used up about half of my hotspot memory, to do so. Then, when we got in the museum, I opened the app and was asked to scan the QR again, but of course we were no longer with the tour contact. So I spent $$ of my private hot spot to down load a non functioning audio guide that, it turned out, was unneeded. Between English language info sheets, and my Google translate, we did fine on our own.

Tour guide never showed up. Had to call Viator and get a refund. No other guests were present. We were 30 mins early & at correct entrance. Viator never contacted us to inform us tour canceled.

The audio information is very simple n general, not tight to the exhibition. Based on the price paid is not worth it. Should just bought the audio guide directly from the office which only $5.

This tour is not as a described on the Viator website. We expected our entry tickets and audio guides from Sforza Castle. Providing detailed information about the site and artefacts. What we got was an email a day before telling up to download an app and maps (using expensive 4G when overseas that is not included in my mobile contract). The information in the app was beyond minimal. Two paragraphs per floor. You needed your own headphones and if you didn’t have these you had to listen on speakerphone, annoying other visitors. We ended up paying to have the official audio guide and this was much better with lots more information. We feel we have been ripped off as well as left out of pocket. Beware booking this. If you want to visit Sforza Castle then just buy a ticket and audio guide at the ticket office on the day. I would also say Sforza Castle and its exhibitions was very disappointing. I am a historian and found it boring. There is no history of the castle or its inhabitants shared. Some exhibitions of paintings, furniture and musical instruments badly curated. Too many stairs for the disabled and argumentative staff when you ask to use the lift (still not step free access even with the lift). They tried to force me to climb onto the ramparts despite being disabled because the tour is one way. Ridiculous! No catering other than a van outside. Toilets nasty with no seats nor paper. I can recommend lots of things in Milan but not Sforza Castle or this tour.

Nice trip. Pay attention to the emails they send on the trip advisor app. They messaged me with my tickets and audio guide download, but I did not see the message. We did the tour without audio. Which was still nice, but audio would have been better.

We enjoyed the castle very much and it was very interesting however the downloaded audio did not work for us and so we made do with the museum notes where available We were not able to actually find out much about the building and it’s history though. Still though we enjoyed or visit there

It was cancelled due to weather damage. Many trees down and all the flooding prevented the tour from happening.
