We were not too sure what to expect of the "speleo avventura" in the Equi Caves. Francesca was the leader of our expedition and she made sure we were all briefed and ready to go. The tour exceeded our expectations!! Too hard it would have been far too challenging (for me anyway!) and too easy it would have been ... well just a bit too easy! It was just the perfect: quite a bit climbing up and down, a good amount of adrenaline pumping too; tibetan bridges/walking wires and, in all, an informative geological afternoon too. We all came out thrilled to have achieved the return journey in these wonderful caves. I would definitely recommend the adventure well worth the money required to attend. As a note of caution: you need to be relatively flexible to do the climb and moderately fit. there are some steep climbs and many steps. Vertigo may be an issue but our daughter - who suffers with heights - managed it all as there is only one deep wire bridge the others are relatively low (about 2-3m) Good walking shoes with grip required and a jumper but not too thick as the adventure keeps you warm! Suitable for families. We were two parents in the early 50s and teenage children. Enjoy it!

Scenario fantastico, 'aiutato' dal grande lavoro fatto per rendere pienamente accessibile un percorso non facilissimo, a volte angusto ma di grande emozione. C'è tanta storia, anche, dietro, e la guida ha egregiamente svolto il suo compito illustrando il giro prima durante e dopo. Consigliatissimo, anche per bambini sopra i 4 anni.

Buongiorno, confesso di aver aspettato 20 giorni prima di scrivere questa recensione perchè altrimenti avrei scritto solo parolacce. La settimana prima di ferragosto abbiamo prenotato per 3 adulti una visita pomeridiana guidata alle grotte (era lunedì). Arrivati ad Equi purtoppo il tempo era pessimo, un fortissimo temporale si è abbattuto proprio nel momento del nostro arrivo. Essendo partiti da Cerreto Alpi con 30°C e un sole splendente, non avevamo considerato l'ipotesi che ad EquiTerme posette diluviare. Arrivati al centro visite l'accoglienza è stata buona e ci era stoto assicurato che nonostante il temporale, la visita si sarebbe fatta comunque. Ci indica la stada da fare a piedi e ci incamminiamo sotto una pioggia incessante e copiosa. Dico solo che nei viottoli in salita l'acqua scendeva come se fosse un torrente in piena e arrivava alle caviglie. All'ingresso del centro storico di Equi è posizionato un cartellone che indica la direzione da prendere per le grotte e la seguiamo fino al raggiungimento di una piccola piazzeta. Dopo il nulla....nessuna indicazione che potesse far intendere la strada da percorrere per arrivare alle grotte, solo delle frecce disegnate sul selciato della piazza. Non essendo pratici di Equi e soprattutto senza una protezione adeguata contro la pioggia, le abbiamo seguite. Indicazioni fuorvianti, visto che ci hanno fatto camminare fino al raggiungimento delle piscine allontanandoci parecchio dalle grotte. Chiamo abbastanza scocciata il centro di accoglienza e la ragazza molto gentilmente mi ha dato tutte le informazioni necessarie per ritrovare la strada corretta ed arrivare fino all'ingresso delle grotte. Lei conferma che in effetti manca una adeguata segnalazone che indici la strada. Non avevamo neanche un indumento asciutto. Mi rendo conto di essere arrivata all'ingresso già abbastanza alterata per questo spiacevole episodio e che non era di certo colpa dell'organizzazione se in quel momento stava diluviando e io non avevo l'ombrello. Ma dicerto la mancata segnalazione della strada da seguire dalla piazza in avanti poteva essere fatta in maniera accurata, visto la totale mancanza di indicazioni. Se quel pomeriggio ci fosse stato il sole sarebbe stata solo una passeggiata alla ricerca dell'ingresso. Ma purtoppo pioveva e la necessità di arrivare direttamente alle grotte era evidente. Io lavoro con il pubblico da oltre 25 anni, e la prima regola da seguire è che se un cliente arriva molto arrabbiato non getti benzina sul fuoco, ma cerchi di calmarlo con qualsiasi frottola ti passi per la mente, altrimenti si scatena un putiferio. E il putiferio si è scatenato, perchè alla nostra esplosione di una mancanza di segnalazione per arrivare alle grotte, la risposta della guida speloeologica è stata: " Il responsabile qui sono io, potete dire quello che volete ma a me non me ne frega niente!" "Andate a parlare con il Sindaco!" "Volete il numero di telefono da chiamare? E' scritto sul cartellone fuori sotto l'acqua, ma tanto non uscite a prenerlo perchè altrimenti vi si bagna il cellulare!" " Qui siamo ad Equi, tornate nelle vostre città!" L'unica cosa sensata che hanno detto dopo aver litigato pesantemente, direi quasi al limite del fisico, è stato di ridarci i soldi! Ovviamente senza fare la visita. PERSONALE PESSIMO è dire poco!!!! E non vado oltre. Ribadisco manca la segnalazione, potete scrivere un cartello anche a mano se costa troppo, ma mettetelo!

Siamo andati di giovedì per fare l'esperienza discovery Orso per la quale NON è prevista alcuna prenotazione.Arrivati prima dell'apertura prevista per le 10 ci è stato detto che non potevamo entrare fino alle 16 in quanto tutte le guide erano impegnate con un grosso gruppo, che tuttii giovedì vi sono gruppi ele guide non sono sufficienti. Abbiamo spiegatochesul sitonon era scritto niente a tal proposito e che avevamo.pure inviato una mail la sera precedente chiedendo gli orari. Una bellissima esperienza. Io e mia moglie abbiamo partecipato alla visita guidata e ne siamo rimasti estasiati. Ci siamo sentiti come due piccoli speleologi 😊. Ci era già capitato di visitare altre grotte ma queste sono state uniche nel loro genere...bellissime. Dobbiamo fare un ringraziamento speciale alle guide che, oltre a essere super organizzate, sono molto attente nei riguardi dei gruppi che accompagnano. Se non soffrite di claustrofobia e non avete paura di fare tanti scalini ma soprattutto se volete vivere un'esperienza indimenticabile le Grotte di Equi fanno al caso vostro.

Un endroit un peu reculé dans les hauteurs. Peux de monde. Adultes comme enfants nous avons adoré la visite des grottes. Un super guide Lucas, a pris le temps de nous faire découvrir cet endroit. Avec cerise sur le gâteau pour les enfants une portée de bébé chauves-souris ! Après la visite vous pouvez vous rafraîchir dans la rivière. Les locaux aménagent des barrages pour crée des petites piscines.
