This tour looked at medieval Florence. We were shown many interesting buildings and details were pointed out. We were also told about the way people lived and saw wonderful frescoes of their work. The history of Florence from Roman times was also told always in interesting and entertaining ways. This tour brought the city to life for me. Our guide was charming helpful and very knowledgeable.
Absolutely charming tour guide, brought us to the hidden gems of Florence and had us relive the history of the place, something I found to be unique and engaging. Two of those places I really loved, namely the Santa Croce church and the perfume store she recommended, and went back to them in my own time. She had a lot of insiders tips on the best places to eat in town too.
Great tour! Camila was extremely knowledgeable about seemingly everything in Florence. Would recommend this tour early in your stay, they will suggest things to do that you would never have thought of from just internet research
After doing the renaissance tour with Camilla we decided to also participate on the essence of Florence tour with her as the guide. We were not disappointed, it was one of the best tours we ever did! As promised, Camilla showed us many different aspects of the city and gave a lot of great tips and recommendations. Being an art historian, Camilla could give us detailed information on all the sites we visited and answer all our questions.

As a solo traveler it was helpful to me to take the tour as a first look into the city to get my bearings and learn at the same time. It was a very fun tour, being in a small group makes it so much pleasant like a walk with a knowledgeable friend and I learnt a lot of fun stories ! Thank you !
