Wow what a fantastic day ! We had a wonderful time the whole day was a brilliant experience, Christian collected us from outside our apartment , the vehicle was luxurious clean and perfectly equipped. He welcomed us and made us feel at ease, First we drove to the mafia village of Corleone on the way Christian explained the history of the mafia going back 300 yrs and it’s original origins. No questions were to much trouble for him he spoke perfect English and was happy to clarify any details we asked about . Once we arrived in the village he was happy to stop for pictures and his knowledge of the area and locations was first class , he knew all the best areas for pictures and didn’t rush us at any time. Once we had parked on Corleone he showed us around the small town starting in the main square, then we were able to walk the small streets to the mafia museum called the godfather house , this was great the owners father and son were brilliant both intellectuals and very funny. We had a great experience with them & would recommend the tour to the godfather house. Then we traveled to the Cathedral of Monte real , we arrived at lunchtime as the church didn’t open until 2.30pm this allowed us opportunity to walk around the area eat some lunch, the Cathedral was beautiful with the most amazing ceilings I have ever seen and was free to enter. After this we mentioned the amount of pine core sculptures we had seen around Sicilly, Cristian ask if would like to visit a local independent artist who produced these and other sculptures in a factory close by , we immediately decided yes. He then took us to Nicolo Giuliano factory which was closed due to it being a Saturday, but this amazing kind and humble genius arrived and opened the factory for us and showed myself and my daughter the complete process of creating the amazing artwork he produces, we were blown away by his creativity, his patience to explain his life’s work & humbleness… what beautiful people! This was so kind of Cristian to allow us this opportunity and completely unexpected. The was no attempt to push to buy anything (although we did) as the items produced were so beautiful it would be hard not to love them. After we thanked Nicolo Cristian returned us to our apartment , he also gave us a list films to watch and experience the world of the mafia and the history of the real Sicily. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the truth about the mafia Corleone and the history of Sicily. And sharing the experience with a fantastic intellectual tour guide. Thanks again Cristian!! Simon & Iona . .

Umberto was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable and friendly. The Mafia museum was a blast and the owner was very theatric and informative. Highly recommend this tour as a day trip from Palermo.

Fascinating look into the REAL history of the Godfather and mafia. Michael was a knowledgeable and informative guide. Be aware that this is not a tour of the movie locations or anything associated with the Hollywood version. This tour is a historically correct version and a true look at the place of the mafia’s birth.

Umberto was very knowledgeable about Palermo and the surrounding towns. He told us many stories about the mafia and history of the buildings we saw.

Cristian and Salvatore provided excellent service on our day trip to Corleone. Salvatore is extremely knowledgeable about Sicily and provided many entertaining anecdotes. Christian is an excellent driver and also was very attentive to our needs. I recommend this service without reservation. Mario & Xenny they both made our feel as if we’re on a family trip.

Great tour and not to be missed. Very interesting if you want to know a lot of the history of Sicily and the background of the Mafia. Our tour guide was very informative and has been living here his entire life. The private home tour in Corleone is very interesting and informative. It says museum on the description, but you actually get a guided tour of an ex mafia boss’s entire home. It was extremely interesting and the home has original finishes and interesting things that were recovered in the home that are original. The owner and guide of the tour is really amazing and is a character. On the way back we stopped in a beautiful suburb of Palermo and had lunch, and the outlook view over the city is amazing. There is also an UNESCO church we visited. This tour is a 5 star tour and very informative.

Great experience with a fantastic guide! He talked to us about the history of the mafia and drove us to coreleon where he assisted a friend on the tour to trace her roots. The tour of the mafia house was very cool & the tour guide for that part was also great & very enthusiast on the subject. You have to pay for the mafia house tour which isn’t a big deal but should’ve been included in the tour price (it is mentioned so I knew to expect it). Our tour guide took us to another area on the way back to Palermo where we saw some gorgeous views of the sea & city. If this subject interests you, definitely take this toy,

This was a very interesting experience! Our guide Umberto was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and explained a great deal about the history of the mafia on our way to the museum. Once we got to Corleone we stopped for some picture opportunities and then headed to the museum. Our guide at the museum, Michael, did an awesome job explaining some of the local history and showed us around, he was very gracious. We then went to visit Monreale for lunch and to see the beautiful mosaics inside the cathedral. It was quite the site to behold! On our way back to Palermo, Umberto asked if we’d like to stop the ceramics shop of Master artisan Nicolo Giuliano. That was a wonderful recommendation! We got to meet Nicolo and his two sons, tour their workshop and gallery, and found a couple of pieces to purchase. It was a wonderful day and Umberto was an exceptional guide to show us around!
