Marica, our guide was great. We were grandparents with our 13 year old grandson. She was able to give us all wonderful information. In addition, she was a lovely young lady and fun to share the afternoon with.

Magdalena was a wonderful guide. She was patient, informative, and showed us historical features along the way we would have never noticed other wise. We were a group of 4 couples—ages 59-77 —and she allowed us “flatlanders” time to ascend the hill in our own time. Her knowledge of the cathedral and its frescoes, bas relief features and it’s unusual history over time was remarkable. She even recommended a lunch place and walked us there to make reservations. This is a must see tour.

This was a fantastic 2.5 hour tour of Orvieto and its wonderful cathedral. Our guide, Emma, was well informed and provided an excellent overview, answering all our questions and giving us tips for lunch and gelato afterward.

This is another amazing part of this very ancient and amazing medieval city. The Duomo or cathedral was completed around1200AD. The colours of the marble on the outside are very striking and different. The inside is beautiful as you would imagine. the Duomo is surrounded by a large Piazza which makes the whole area very attractive. It costs nothing to go in and if in the area or visiting Orvieto this would be a must.
