Good tour. Guide was knowledgeable but it would have been better if she had known that crypts in church were closed because of Easter celebrations. Focaccia tasting was an unexpected treat.

Good tour. They were responsive to communication and very nice hosts. Emanuela was very knowledgeable about Bari and did the tour in both Italian and English. They canceled the afternoon tour I booked due to enough people, but messaged me to make sure I could do the early one. It wasn't a great day for touring, rian/wind, but we made the best of it

Very fun and informative tour with Chiarra, a friendly and knowledgeable guide. We stopped in some historic cathedrals and explored the Old Town of Bari. Small group (only one other couple). And we stopped for a sample of great artisan gelato

On a 2-hour city walking tour our guide was Anna Rita, who came across as knowledgeable , courteous as well as efficient . She sought to pack in as much information as possible , without cramming . Thank you Anna Rita !

Guilia is very knowledgeable and pleasant on the tour. She offered history and culture on Bari and gave me a good introduction to Puglia.

Although Maria was very sweet, she seemed to only have a command of Spanish as she is a native Spanish speaker. She could not communicate very well in either English or Italian and got much of the information wrong. Additionally, even though we had verified that we would be able to visit the interiors of both churches, she said, at the 2nd that we would be able to visit after she spoke, but they had closed. Very disappointing.

A city walking tour is always on our agenda to get our bearings and find out about the history of a place . Over recent years we've enjoyed some really excellent ones. Sadly this was not one of them. In Bari Velo's guide Leoni was very friendly and it was a pleasant stroll but frankly for one of the most expensive group walking tours we've been on it was extremely short on information with too much time hanging around: 15 mins waiting to be served then eating ice cream, 10 mins similarly for a focaccia sample, and another 15 mins while we stood listening to a tambourine player doing an over-long 'tourist number'. Overall very little general history about the city or information on the many historic buildings was given - only 5 or 6 buildings were very briefly talked about. For the price, and compared to walking tours in other cities, it was poor value

Our guide, Anna took the English/Spanish group today, she devoted more time to the Spanish group than she did to the English perhaps because her English was not that good. She tended to speed through her speeches but did not relate with us at all. She kept saying "you have to know", when maybe she should say "you may like to know". Didn't learn that much more of Bari than I didn't already know.

Enjoyed our tour with Emanuelle. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. Sampling the food and a musical ending added to our experience
