We were at the designated location prior to the meeting time, not at all obvious where to go. Finally went to a "tour" booth and they were confused as well. The guy there called someone and then took us to where this group was already at. The only reason we signed up was to see the spiral staircase at the Palace featured on the add, hoping to experience the view from the top. Unfortunately the tour does not go up the staircase only looks at it. Nice local tour guide, although hard to understand at times.

They do not tell you which vaporetto stop or give helpful information. It took us over 1 hr to travel from within city and missed tour. It is so lazy to not give the simplest help such as this and would have made a huge difference. One of our party became ill while travelling to the church. Just terrible. Would not recommend

We all thought this was great! We learned so much and wandered around parts of the city that we otherwise would not have. Our guide was friendly and super knowledgable. I would recommend doing this to get a good knowledge base for your explorations of Venice. Our guides restaurant recommendations were also great. :)

We’d decided to venture outside the normal tourist spots and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, interesting and open to answering our frequent questions. The tour was just about the right length of time and at the end we were filled with new stories and adventures. Would thoroughly recommend.

We really enjoyed this tour. Enrico was knowledgeable and entertaining. ( and his English was excellent. ) it was really enjoyable wandering around the quieter parts of Venice and discovering so many interesting facts and a great deal of trivia about the history of the city. A great way to spend our first morning in this beautiful city. Really excellent value for money. If you try it I’m sure you would enjoy it.

Fantastic, knowledgable and friendly tour guide. Spoke perfect English and showed us small details of Venice that we’d otherwise have missed!

We thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. Fascinated by all the quiet alley ways. Beautiful buildings in hidden alleys. Will definitely recommend this tour to family and friends visiting Venice

The disappointment came from two things: the guide was a bit dull and we thought the tour included the opportunity to climb the Scala Contarini which it didn't - although the tour passed the tower. We left the tour at that point and bought our tickets for the Scala, which was well worth it.

The tour started 15 minutes late due to people showing up exactly when the tour was supposed to be leaving. So we had to deal when them getting headsets, and of course one of the headsets didn't work. So, instead of leaving at 3:45 pm we left at 4 pm. No biggie, we're on holiday and I didn't have anything else planned for the day. The tour consisted of the standard highlights of Venice. A regular tour would have had a similar itinerary. There were no off-beat sights as advertised. I was disappointed in what we were shown, and even more disappointed when we came back before 5pm. So the tour ended up being less than an hour in length. This is a generic large-group walking tour that is 1 hour in duration.

We took this late afternoon tour and found our guide to be very engaging, knowledgeable and informative. It was an easy walk and the history of the area was presented to us. The tour ended with a gondola ride that lasted about 30 minutes or so. Over all a good experience and a good value. I would highly recommend.
