Our family did a Roman Street Food Tour with Margherita. She was so lovely and gave us great insight into the history of Roman street food. We had so many delicious dishes. Our favorite was Il Trapezzino and also the gelato was out of this world. I would definitely recommend using Local Aromas while in Rome!

One of our favourite experiences while in Rome was our food tour with Benny. We spent the evening with her on the day we arrived, and it was a great decision. What a perfect way to eat in Rome, while learning all about some of the best food. Benny is a wealth of knowledge, and by the end of the tour, she felt like a friend. Even recommended my sister-in-law and mother-in-law do this same tour when they arrived a few days later. Can't thank Benny enough for her time, and the fun we had. Grazie!

Did a private food tour in Trastevere in Rome (Four Roman Pastas) - we had a wonderful time, learned a lot about italian pastas and cooking, and couldn't say enough about Benny - she was a great person and guide!

Yarina was a delightful host with a wide knowledge of Rome which she shared with us. she knew exactly where to findsome of the loveliest food we sampled. the 3 hrs flew by too quickly.

I did more than just that activity above, I have attended several of their classes (gnocchi, pizza, tagliatelle, tiramisu, tasted awesome olive oils), including a one on one class with The Guru herself Zia Guliana (Hope I spelt that right)!! IT WAS SIMPLY AMAZEBALLS......every time I had fun, learnt tons about Italian cuisine!!! Local Aromas has a great recipe for learning about Italian culture & food, keep it up Ladies!!!!

This food tour was the best!! Elenora our guide was so knowledgeable and fun. We made 4 stops at local places that were so good we went back to 2 of them the next day! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore the non-touristy parts of Rome.

Excellent tour. Great food. More food than we could eat. Fun to walk in the back streets of Rome. I'm sorry that I can't remember the girl's name that was our guide. She was fantastic.

Benny from Local Aromas tailored a wonderful tour to cater for the interests of my family (2 grandparents, 2 parents & 1 ten year old). Jasmine & Luca took us on a tour of Testaccio Market, where we could explore the old and the new. We spent some time in the education centre above the market learning about excavations of the ancient Roman market below. Then we visited some archaeological sites that are not open to the general public (my son felt like Indiana Jones)! We finished our amazing morning following Jasmine through the market where she procured delicious traditional street food for us to share. Our feast was complete with a glass of wine!

We started at the Campo di Fiori open air market where we learned the history of the area with the delightful FRancesca. We then ventured out into the streets around to sample the best pizza in the city, foccacia sandwiches, Italian rice balls, croquettes and macro brewed beer and a great finale to the tour - GELATO. All these places were off the beaten path of tourists so were very authentic, delicious and unusual for a tour of a city. Can't say enough about our interesting guide; she is certainly a people person with her outgoing personality but also a real lover of Rome which showed with every stop. Can't recommend this tour and Francesca enough!!
